Well, it was very difficult for Emily to convince Sylvie to give her a holiday for 3 whole days, but Emily anyhow got it. Luc and Julian wished her best wishes for her trip.
"I hope Gabriel reaches there by time. If he doesn't reach their by the given time, the whole plan for today will mess up."
"And we all know Lola doesn't wants her plans to mess up", says the gang is unison. Lola has said those words atleast a few times since yesterday and the gang can't get enough of it now.
Narrator- If you are thinking what I am thinking, I guess you can be my best friend. Yes, Gabriel is also joining them directly there as he was away from Paris for quite a few days now. We can't wait for this amazing reunion.
"Finally we will have some company with our kinds, right Mindy?", asked Emily.
"Yes ofcourse. And all credit goes to me. You guys are gonna stay at this fancy-ass hotel. This trip is going to be one of a life-time."
"Indeed it'll be."
Camille and Lola now are busy clicking pictures. Ofcourse they have to. They're at the beautiful French Rivera - The Cannes. And if they don't do this, I bet they'll lament it later.
Gabriel arrives and first and foremost kisses Emily.
"I missed you hun!", Gabriel kisses her again.
"GET A ROOM guys!", shouts Lola.
Camille and Emily glances their eyes at each other. Ofcourse Emily is trying to find the answers of all these wierd questions she's having in her mind. It's like an explosion of various chemicals inside her body and sadly she does not have any control to it.
"And Lola!"
"Gabriel! Gabriel! Gabriel!, the hot French Chef I was dying to meet!"
It was like seeing two long lost childhood friends meeting again after 10 years. Gabriel and Lola have a lot in common and thanks to Emily for introducing them. Gabriel congratulates Mindy for her victory and he hugs Camille too.
"How is everything at Normandy now Gabriel?"
"Everything is under control now Camille. You don't worry now.", Gabriel sighs.
"Well it's a relief that everything's fine now. So let's celebrate now! Wohoo!"
"Wow!!! "Emily is in awe. The view of the room is breathtaking. The blue hues of the beautiful river,the sunny paradise in the entire of France and the amazing colourful houses near the beach all were enough to make Emily smile.
"So here's the accommodation scheme. As I'll be performing tomorrow evening at the concert, I have got a seperate suite. And you 4 will be staying in this suite as there's two double bedrooms here. I hope there's no problem." announces Mindy.
"Ofcourse we don't have any problem Mindy. Thank you so much to you. Because of you we all 5 of us are here. And I'm sure we are going to have a hell of a blast. Sante!"
Emily raises a toast at their suite and off they are now for their lunch near the bay of Cannes. Lola and Emily are in a complete different vibe and it seems like Mindy and Camille are getting to know each other more too. Gabriel sees a beautiful wodden farming tool and he clicks a picture there pretending to be operating it. The beautiful cobblestone streets and the quaint yet bussling town with the amazing views of the river and beyond was flattering. Musée de la Castre was their first stop as they all wanted to explore and enjoy the cultures of the medieval France. The castle was built on the high point of the above the city which graced them with a beautiful view.
It was soon going to be sunset and Mindy and Camille went to buy somethings in the market. The market was flooded with tourists and it was sure that the prices of the local goods will be much higher today. Lola on the other hand went inside a bar to use the washroom.
Gabriel and Emily held their hands and were walking along the street. Emily was still feeling a little bit awkward as Gabriel doesn't know yet about what happened between Camille and her. Gabriel looked back and forth and kissed her passionately.
Emily was blown away by this sudden chivalrous act. Emily grabbed him tightly and god they looked so good together.
After a few minutes, Mindy and Camille returned back.
"What did you guys buy?"
"Just a few fridge magnets and a bag for my cousin. And Camille bought this beautiful hat for her sister Maria, and you guys."Camille handed everyone a hat.
"Thank you Camille. You saved us for tomorrow!"
After an walk near the beach, they went back to the hotel. Their feets were numb of walking and Gabriel immediately rushed to the bathroom to take a shower.
"Gabriel showering. What a sight it'll be." says Lola.
"Shut up.ughh"
"Why don't you join him Emily.? It'll be a nice romantic gesture after the secret kissing rendezvous in the streets of Cannes."
Emily looked at Camille and said that's she's tired after today's walking.
They all went to sleep very early. Camille was trying to sleep but all she was thinking was what was Emily doing with Gabriel in the room beside.
Lucky you, Gabriel was dozed off and he was snoring by now. Emily texted Camille.
Emily - Can't sleep.
Camille - same
Emily - meet me at the balcony?
Camille - yup on my way! Shhh
