─"WAIT I DON'T MEAN YES MA'AM I MEANT NO MA'AM I MEAN MISS PLEASE I MEAN SORRY I MEAN MA'AM BUT I AM JUST GOING TO SHUT UP NOW!" you ramble pathetically.
a knock at the door interrupted your miserable ranting much to your relief.
"oh oh my goodness a knock at the door who might this be such a coincidence i will go answer this person who is at the door don't even worry lisa you stay seated and relaxed i have this completely on lock don't even worry about getting the door i'm already going to go get it i am at the door now." you stumbled over to the door shakily, in an attempt to move past your bout of embarrassment.
you silently thanked whoever was at the door and promised to be forever in their debt for saving you from what you considered one of the most embarrassing moments of your life.
the door let out a soft creek as you eased it open to reveal your savior.
"oh razor honey what are you doing here are you done reading are you ready to leave the library and now get as far away from it as possible?" you desperately tried to get razor to understand the hint.
razor tilted his head at your weird behavior but shrugged his shoulders before beginning to talk.
"razor just wanted to ask if he could take a break to go to eat lunch with bennet at good hunter." razor asked for your permission as respectfully as possible.
"oh well of course you can sweetie do you mind if i tag along-"
"this is razor and bennet only lunch." razor interrupts you bluntly.
"yes of course you can razor make sure you put up all of your books before you leave the library, tell benny boy i said hi, don't eat anything too greasy, and clean up your face once you're done eating." you listed off your rules in defeat once you realized you had no way out of your awkward predicament.
"thank you (y/n)!" razor exclaimed before pulling you into a big affectionate hug and dashing off to go have lunch with his "friend".
the door was left gaping with your miserable form left in it looking around the library desperately to see if there was any way you could weasel your way out of the situation. a prolonged sigh left your lips once you realized you were trapped so you admitted defeat and decided to take your problems head-on.
another soft click came from the door once you decided to close it before you reluctantly turned around to face lisa.
"listen lisa-"
lisa's divine laughter interrupted your pleads which made you finally look up at her in shock at her easygoing reaction.
"what- what why are you laughing at me lisa." you pouted in embarrassment.
"(y/n) you are just a cutie so entertaining i just love having you around." lisa let out between laughs.
"but- but that was so embarrassing and i just made a complete and utter fool of myself." you mumbled timidly.
"and it was absolutely hilarious."
lisa's laughs eventually drove you into a laughing fit which made the both of you laugh even harder.
