-Story-

Monty watched as Freddy walked away from him, he was left there to ruminate about his past choices.

Sadly, he recalled the best memories of Bonnie, especially one in particular... When Bonnie taught him how to play bass....

- “Monty, I promise you’re not bad at all! You’re really good!”  Bonnie exclaimed as he saw Monty copy his simple notes, he’d messed up on the last note, but Bonnie was still proud.

“You don’t have the slightest idea,” Monty growls at his mistake, “why are you teaching me anyway?” He asked in curiosity.

“I just... wanted to teach you.” Bonnie lied and Monty noticed, but he kept his mouth shut. Bonnie played another scale, but Monty was too distracted by Bonnie’s sadness to pay attention to it all, which made it difficult play the set of notes, so he stopped. -

Monty made his way toward Monty golf when he had realized that his memory didn’t turn out to be so good. His conversation with Bonnie worsened and that was the only other major thing he learned besides the hand motions for his cords.

- “You’re not just trying to teach me.” Monty concluded, he set his practice bass down and tried to make Bonnie look at him, “What’s wrong?”

At the time Bonnie had been glitching a lot, at points people thought he’d gone crazy. Almost everyone he encountered felt bad for him: even Monty. Bonnie tried to look at him, but he couldn’t.

He ignores Monty’s question, “I want you to know something....” Bonnie spoke but glitched many times, he’d been doing that recently, it just hadn’t been with every sentence he spoke.

"Sure,” Monty answered, he was used to Bonnie’s ignorance. -

Monty made his way through the atrium; he didn’t stop to look back or anything because he had tears in his eyes, and he would hate to see anyone see him weak.

“I’m going to be gone soon.” Bonnie answers plainly, “and I need you to take over my job-”

“What?!” Monty was infuriated, “I can’t take over your job! Who told you this?!” Monty felt like he was about to rage but he knew that he really shouldn’t, he understood that Bonnie had some technical problems, and this was his only reason for not blowing up in front of him.

Bonnie was also doing other things that he’d never done before, he was humming and singing much more, he spent much more time away from children and more with the group, and he’d become more self-conscious and using more makeup than usual, which explained why everyone was worrying about him so much.

Bonnie smiled and answered Monty’s question slightly, “You have to take over my job....” he sets down his bass too, “I’m not wanted here.”

Monty was definitely shocked by Bonnie's answer, “Of course you're wanted here.” they both locked eyes as Monty continued to speak, “who said this? Please talk to me.”
“I can't.” Bonnie admits, “You can’t know what I know." Bonnie stood up; he was quiet as he made his way towards Monty’s door. -

Monty’s heart hardens as he realized that he felt the same way right about now, but he never really understood why Bonnie thought he wasn’t wanted; everybody wanted him.
