"Dahlia like this?" I asked Mari
He was to busy on the phone to pay attention to me. I grabbed any toy that seemed interesting or fun before putting them in the basket.
"I mean I don't know what's taking forever, they kids just grab some" Mari said "What don't they play with?"
"Ion know about dahlia but my chirn picky" I rolled my eyes "and I ain't spending my money for nun"
"You right" he said twice before hanging up the phone
"You still coming with us to the photo shoot tomorrow?" I asked
"Yea, you found the outfits yet?"
"Yea" I told him walking to the front
"This everything you getting?"
"Yes we got most of the shit at the house" I pushed the buggy
"You think that's gone be enough?"
"More than enough Mari, you over played yo part" I chuckled "We wrapping them tonight because I don't feel like doing it late"
"I feel ya" he said putting stacking some of the toys as the lady rung them up
"Mari?"
"Yo"
"You always be nutting in me?" I said as the register lady choked
He chuckled and shook his head "where that come from?"
"Just asking" I shrugged because we be fucking raw a lot
I mean have we ever had safe sex.
"I mean ya, it ain't gone do shit is it?" He said
"No I guess not" I shrugged
"Yo ass tripping" he finished and payed for the items "these kids burning holes in my pocket"
"Guhl, knowing you got hella money"
He probably felt like he just spent a penny. Literally. He chuckled as I pushed the buggy outside.
