Denki kaminari was referred as many things. Dumbass was one he was used to, as well as a stupid moron and dunce face. He wasn't that bothered by it, though. He knew his classmates didn't mean it; they didn't know any better. To be honest, if he was a normal person, he would probably have been pissed. But he wasn't normal. He was far from normal. And he would do everything in his power for no one to find out why. Why you ask? Well, that's his little secret for now.

Denki never was smart. Compared to his other classmates, he was always said to be the dumbest. That was out of his control, though. It's not his fault that he can't read for shit because of dyslexia. But, what he did not mention was that he could speak roughly 10 different languages fluently. It was something they forced him to learn from a young age and was important for his old line of work.
He never showed his unknown skills, though, not even once, not once had he corrected his peers' or teachers' punctuation. Not once he had shown his true skill. They would suspect him. They would start questioning him. He wouldn't know how to answer.
The fact that he always scored low on the tests helped keep up his minor act. After all, he could speak English as fluently as he could in Japanese, but that didn't mean he could read it well at all. Dyslexia was a bitch. But that didn't stop them from punishing him more times than he could remember.

He'd been told many times how weak it was, that no matter how hard he trained, he could hold a candle compared to his classmates. Monoma had told him that once. He'd promptly received a well-deserved punch in the face from Bakugou, but Kaminari didn't mind any of these insults. He knew for a fact that he was probably the strongest student in all of UA. He could have won the sports festival with no sweat if he wanted to. All the villain attacks left and right he and his classmates went through were just an insignificant speck of dust compared to all the hellish things he suffered all his childhood.
Growing up with them as notorious villains for parents kind of did that to you
——————
Kaminari rarely received a praise during his childhood. The whole concept of someone even complementing him for doing a good job was something completely a foreign concept to his ears. He was mainly called "useless" and "worthless" rather than receiving praise. When these words were spoken to him, they usually accompanied it with a gunshot, stab, punch, slap, kick, poison and many other torture methods to be taught a "lesson" for being "a bad boy". To where he had come, to fear those haunted words. It didn't help when everything he did right, his parents would try to fault him for something. Bloody all over covered in many wounds was something constant that littered his entire body.
——————
His parents forced him to assassinate when he was only five years old under the code name 'Kin'. At that point, he already underwent three years of rigorous training under his belt and combat skills that could put anyone to shame.
Kaminari quickly became the best assassin for hire in the span of a few short months.
On average, he killed more than 15 people a fortnight. He wasn't exactly happy with the arrangement. He never was. On the line of indifference, he teetered. He had more blood on his hands than most major villains, yes, but the beatings he received from his parents became few because of it.
It was the closest to a reward as he was ever going to get, and he knew it.
For the first time, Kaminari would be breathing without a sharp pain in his stomach or an ache in his limbs.
