Well...isn't this a beautiful moon ?
At this late hour of the night , most people would be going to sleep, playing video games, reading, talking to friends, and other normal stuff.
You see in this civilization, if you heard someone tell you that they saw a flying eye-ball or that they saw a person getting freezed by someone, you would either tell them to consult a psychologist or seriously worry for their mental health..
Well, that would be the case if the magical side didn't exist.
At the end of the day, when ordinary people are absent, well, that's when it all gets trippy. You feel me ? In the late night you see it is actually very likely that there is a flying eye-ball out there and that a person is getting freezed the fuck out by someone.
There are all kinds of beings nowadays such as, mages, church members, phantasmal beasts and on and on..
And thus, a church apprentice who lived in this madness found himself looking out at the moon in the train.
The moon sure is glowing tonight. Probably because it's the end of the month... or should I say the beginning of the next ? This boy was deep in thought while staring at the moon outside the window.
The wagon was kind of empty. There were only 6 other people in it other than him. And all of them were already fast asleep...well he couldn't blame them since it was already past midnight.
But the thought of going back to his hometown as a freshman was quite exciting and it kept him awake for this long. It was also a change of scenery of some sort for him.
You see, the church he was an apprentice of isn't any ordinary church. This church was directly involved in magic. They were still "men of God" but they had other duties. Such as executing mages and overseeing the Holy Grail War.
He was 4 in an orphanage of the church ever since his father had left him there, later on at around 9 years old, he had been sent at Citeaux Abbey due to his...well.. special case. He had stigmata. From there on they started training him to be an executor. He had been sent to Fuyuki city to reside at the church of the city and observe the Holy Grail War because his father has been appointed as the overseer of the war. It was also in a way, his debut to being an actual Executor.
It was quite unnerving because he hadn't seen his father since he was a child, and had little to no memory of him.
But aside from all of that he was also looking forward to going at high school, and everything that came with it : friends, scientific studies, crushes and all the rest.
But I don't think that would be a wise thing to do since I am supposed to be a church boy.. I wonder how my father would be like though. Well I'll see about that tomorrow. I might as well sleep while I still can, it's pretty late if you ask me.
After taking one last look at the moon, he reached under his seat and pulled out his suitcase. He opened it and took his pillow since he didn't really bring much baggage. He placed the pillow on his lap, closed his suitcase and looked around him. Everyone seemed to be sleeping tightly, so nothing could really happen while he slept. But even so, he took his bracelet, opened it and closed it again around the handle of the suitcase, since we never know, someone could be watching. He then took a locket and locked the opening of the suitcase. Putting the key in his pocket, he dragged the suitcase right under his pillow so that no one could see what he did with his bracelet.
