to lie

bakugou spent the next week and a half thinking and observing. he was thinking about shinsou and his words. was shinsou telling the truth? on one hand he didn't wanna trust shinsou but on the other hand his heart was telling him to trust shinsou.

his classmates could tell something was up with him. he was spaced out during class. he didn't eat as much at lunch. he lost more often during training. he just wasn't himself and who could blame him.

bakugou just wanted someone to tell him what to do. he hated making decisions like this. he hated when the choice wasn't clear. he didn't have anyone he could go to talk about this with.

he could go to deku but he'd just annoy bakugou. him and todoroki were on speaking terms ever since the provisional license classes but it felt kinda weird to go to him about this. seeing as how he couldnt go to kirishima about this he decided to talk to todoroki about it.

he knocked three times on todorokis dorm door.

"open up halfie"

todoroki opened the door as bakugou went to knock again which resulted in bakugou hitting him in the forehead.

"finally you opened the door. move, we need to talk" bakugou said as he pushed todoroki aside and sat on the edge of his bed.

"it's always a please to see you bakugou" todoroki closed the door "what exactly is it do we need to talk about"

bakugou dove into the details of the past few weeks with him and shinsou as todoroki got comfortable on his bed next to him. he told him about the dates, the dates, his feelings for shinsou, and what had just recently happened.

"it appears that you have a tough decision to make and you have enlisted my help in making said decision, correct?" todoroki asked

"yeah that's exactly what's happening you idiot. are you gonna help me or not?"

"ofc course im gonna help you we're friends aren't we"

"....i guess you could say that, yeah"

"what does your brain say about this situation"

"it says that there are multiple ways to look at the situation and that believing shinsou could be a valid option but also not believing him would be one too"

"mhm and what does your heart say"

"to fucking believe him"

they sat in silence for a minute before todoroki spoke again.

"if your brain is saying believe him and so is your heart then i think you know the answer"

"i don't know if i want to believe him. what if my brain and heart are wrong. what if this is just another part of the dare, to get me to fall in love with him or something."

"bakugou things like that only happen in romance movies "

"but it happens" bakugou snapped

todoroki sighed

"sorry..... i didn't mean to yell at you like that im just frustrated"
