Chapter 2: Revealed

"Then that's how it's gonna go, War it is," Prince Tommy announced. "NO!" I blurted out, pushing the doors open into the throne room, stumbling and falling in front of the two princes, face first. Prince Tommy growled as the Enderprince frowned. "Prince Tommy, I can explain!" I said, trying to defend myself as I sat up but failed to stand up.

"Didn't I tell all the servants to leave?!" Prince Tommy shouted in his annoying voice. I flinched at his shouting. "I know but... I don't want another war between the Ender Kingdom and the Cadillac Kingdom," I said as tears pricked my eyes. "That's no excuse to eavesdrop on us!" Prince Tommy yelled. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I covered my face with my palms.

I felt arms wrap around me as I was pulled upwards to a warm body. I put my hands down next to my side and opened my eyes to face the Enderprince's black shirt. I stopped crying yet sniffled. I gently pushed him aside, wiping my tears, leaving the tear stains. My eyes fell on an annoyed Prince Tommy. "You done?" He asked.

The Enderprince turned to him, "Don't you have any care for your servants and maids?" Prince Tommy sighed and rolled his eyes, "Of course I do but those who spy on our conversations," He paused and glared at me, "Will be EXECUTED!" I backed up, "P-Please, Prince T-Tommy," "W-When?" I sighed, knowing it's worthless to argue with the Prince. "Wednesday," Prince Tommy answered, "It'll remain a secret," I nodded, sadly.

"Now, LEAVE! Don't tell anyone about the war!" Prince Tommy commanded. I nodded but before I could bow, the Enderprince asked, "What's with you and the war?" I looked down at my black shoes, "M-My parents died in the last w-war," I answered. Tears formed in my eyes. "Oh," The Enderprince looked down. He seemed guilty for asking me the question. "You're dismissed," Prince Tommy said. I bowed as I closed the door behind me and left.
