Chapter 3: Introduction

I was sweeping the floor in an empty hallway in the afternoon when a shadow casted on me. I looked up to see the Enderprince himself. "Huh! Prince Ranboo," I bowed. "Please, just call me Ranboo," He said, "And rise," I stood up. He had a smile on his face, "Would you mind introducing yourself?" "I-I'm Tubbo Underscore," I replied. "Tubbo, very sweet name," He complimented. It made me blush.

"You... wanna take a break from work?" The Enderprince asked. "But Prince Ranboo-" I was interrupted by his glare, "R-Ranboo?" He smiled, "Don't worry, it'll be quick," "O-Okay," I agreed. "Wanna show me around the place?" Ranboo asked. "But hasn't Prince Tommy asked you to leave the kingdom?" I interrogate. "He has but I thought I'd check this place out," Responded the Enderprince. "But you might sabotage," I say, looking down. He sighed and rolled his eyes, "I promise I won't"

I nodded, smiling as I gestured to him to follow me. He rushed to my side as I started walking and held my hand, making me blush. We took a turn and I opened the glass doors at the end of the hallway that led to a giant garden on the side of the palace. Ranboo gasped at the breathtaking view. There was a pond with lily pads and cattails, surrounded by small boulders, a mixture of short and long grass, colourful flowers and trees. Small creatures like rabbits and deers wandered this garden. Bees flew over the flowers, buzzing. Birds chirped from the tree branches.

"This is beautiful!" Ranboo exclaimed. I smiled, "It's my favourite place in the world. People say the outside world is dangerous but those who returned from that world, this is how it looks like" "Have you never seen anything beyond your kingdom walls," Ranboo looked at me. I shook my head.

Ranboo started walking towards the creatures. "Don't! They'll run away," I warned. He didn't care. He slowly walked up to the deer like I had before but unlike the time I had done it, it didn't run away. The deer had run away from me but not from Ranboo. He petted the deer. I smiled as Ranboo motioned to me to come. I tip toe to him as he held my hand. He placed it on the deer's head. I stroked it a little before the deer leaped away.

We petted more of the creatures when we noticed the sky getting orange. The sun was dropping. Ranboo looked at the wall on the far end of the garden, "What's beyond this wall?" "On the other side is the rest of the kingdom. This is the end of the palace," I answered. Ranboo nodded, "I better get going, my people are waiting," He waves at me before he exits. I wave back when I remember my work. Oh no! It's already evening and I haven't completed my palace work!
