You lightly knocked on the door twice and then walked into the room. You were a bit hesitant because you were afraid of what you would see.
From what Ningguang and the hospital staff had said Beidou had been bleeding heavily. The alleyway was still being cleaned.
Beidou was laying on the bed. Her eyes was open so she wasn't sleeping. You could see the empty eye socket. It was kinda gross, but you know it always was when people get serious injuries.
There was some dried blood on her face. It was mostly on her eyelashes. Her hand was bandaged up too along with her right shoulder.
She turned in the bed when she saw you. "Hey, [y/n]." She said in a tired tone. You assumed she had just woken up from a nap.
"Hey Beidou, how are you feeling?" You smiled and sat down next to her. You carefully held her bandaged hand, attempting to comfort both of you.
Beidou smiled again but didn't speak. You knew she felt better but she was traumatized by the incident. "I'm sorry. I didn't see who it was", she sighed. Her cheerful smile turned into a frown.
You knew her whole life had been turned upside down. You hadn't talked to Scaramouche at all since the incident. Of course you still loved him. But you didn't wanna accept it.
Anyway, back to Beidou. "Has the hospital announced when you can leave?" You ask. Beidou nodded and pointed at a monitor. It displayed information about her current state.
It said she will get released at --:--, which was in a few weeks.
I smiled at her. We continued talking for a while. Soon Ningguang joined us. She'd brought some snacks with her.
To be exact she had brought some chocolate and wine, which you couldn't figure out how she managed to bring to a HOSPITAL.
You three spent a few hours chatting and eating until the doctors said you had to leave. You both bid goodbye to Beidou.
Feeling bored and not wanting to be alone, you asked Ningguang for a sleepover. She agreed and said she'll ask the class.
In the end everyone except Beidou came. Well, you all were on facetime with her, so she technically was there.
You were all chatting. Xinyan, Barbara and Yun Jin were holding a singing and dancing contest. Keqing, Ninggaung, Kokomi and Ayaka was watching them.
Ayato and Thoma was discussing random things. Signora, Childe and Scaramouche were sitting by a fireplace just hanging out.
You ended up with Kazuha, Ei and Yae. Ei and Yae was playing three in a row and you and Kazuha were playing chess.
By now Kazuha had managed to win two times in a row. You groaned in frustration as you moved a peice. Kazuha grinned, knocked your piece out of the way, and repositioned his.
"Checkmate." he said, his tone laced with proudness. You jokingly hit his arm.
Another sigh of frustration escaped you.
"How do you always win!? It's not fair!" You pouted. Kazuha smiled but didn't speak.
In the end, no one left your apartment/house. You were laying on the couch. Yae and Ei was cuddling, the rest was just sprawled over eachother like a gang of drunkens.
You smiled before your eyelids finally dropped, and everything turned dark and calm.
