Chapter 13

Rosé woke up feeling amazing even though she didn't know why or conceivably she was about to meet Jennie in the library, yes tell her ridiculous but she can't stop the smile which occurred on her face.

She was ready to go out but bumped into her sister in the living room. "Watch where are yo-" Lisa stopped in the middle when she saw Rosé wearing a black outfit which was Jennie's favorite color.

"Sorry, I'm in hurry" Rosé was about to walk off. "Last time I checked you hated black..." Lisa can't help the curiosity she was fumbling.

"Uh... just change of mood" Rosé shrugged. "okay, I'll wait for Jennie..." Lisa was seating in front of Jennie's photo frame on the couch in the living room. Well, the whole house is filled with their families' pictures.

"I... bye..." Rosé forced a smile, she wanted to say that she was going to meet Jennie but she couldn't. Her selfish self doesn't allow her to speak and the worst thing was she wasn't even regretful about it.

Yet she made her way to the library in university, Jennie was reading the same book which made her smile at her dumbfoundedly. How can I be so selfish?

But how can I not be selfish?

She asked a million questions to herself but she made her way to Jennie, every step she took caused her heart to pound harder. That special feeling between them filled the air as soon as their eyes meet.

"Rosie.." Jennie's smile always filled her heart.

"Jen.." and Rosé's existence completed the emptiness of Jennie's heart.

"I thought... I thought you wouldn't come..." Jennie sighed in relief. "Why you might think that?" Rosé can't help but asked as she took a seat beside her instead of across the table.

"Because of Lisa..." Jennie's words just didn't do anything but made her feel blameworthy but it didn't stop her or Jennie from stealing the nameless glances from each other.

"I came for you..." Jennie's eyes just tempt Rosé as if magnet and only truth come out of her mouth. "What?" Jennie widens her eyes.

"I... I mean I came for you to help with an article which we have to write" Rosé fibbed. She realizes how big a liar she has become for Jennie.

She loves Jennie in a way she never expected to fall for anyone, that if Jennie would love her back she would do everything in her power to be with her.

"Let's start then..." Jennie stood up. "Where are you going?" she can't help but panic because even the thought of Jennie away from her makes her anxious.

"To pick up some books, come with me" Jennie declared as Rosé followed her like a lost puppy. All Rosé was doing was stealing glances from Jennie who was busy filling Rosé's arms with books.

They roam around the whole library together and when Jennie finally turned to Rosé who was carrying more books than her height. "God... why didn't you tell me!?" Jennie widen her eyes in surprise when Rosé stumbled on her steps as Jennie finally took 5 books from 16.

"I.. you was so busy picking up books that I didn't want to interrupt" Rosé grinned, Jennie can't help chuckling at her.

"You're stupid, come on. I think it's enough" she was going to the seat where they left their bags. "maybe I'm" Rosé whispered to herself.

"did you say something?" Jennie frowned at her when they both sat side by side. "Nope..." Rosé denied who literally losing her shit just by seating beside Jennie.

"So where do we start?" Jennie excitedly opened a book and Rosé silently giggled. "Where ever you want" Rosé also picked up any book and started shuffling the pages.
