(y/n) pov

i felt someone tapping on my shoulder, i groaned in annoyance and moved my shoulder up. i then heard a voice "come on, (y/n)! we're here!!" he shook me and i woke up, growling slightly "jeez mike, im awake" i mutter and he giggles, i noticed that my hoodie hood was up and i took it down. revealing my 1 grown horn and 1 cut off horn, the bus stopped quickly and i thumped forward onto someone's seat "what was that!" one of the people looked back to see me getting up from the floor. they laughed and shook their head and their bus partner started to snigger. nobody really liked me but i didn't care, everyone got off the bus but before me and mike could the door closed "um, joe me and mike are still here" i looked up at joe and he had his eyes wide by being surprised of my quick presence "oh sorry kids, i'll open em for you!" he smiled and opened the doors.

"thanks joe! good luck finishing your crossword puzzle" mike said while trying to get out of the bus, i offered to help him and i floated up a little, making the man below me come off the ground a bit "sorry micheal, (y/n) i didn't see you" mrs. graves apologised and i came down from floating "thats okay" mike smiled and i cleared my throat "and when we was on the bus we found a nickel!" i yip, while mike takes out a nickel from my pocket "man, i wish i had pockets" he sighed and gives it back to me "aw, its okay!" i say patting his head. (omg im already running outta ideas)

"okay, everyone partner up! get your feild trip buddy" mrs. graves said with her voice raised a bit, before mike went to get someone i grabbed his hand "just stay with me it'll be better" i smiled down at him and he took my hand "alright!!" mike said with joy in his voice, man how can one monster be so happy. everyone had gotten partnered up and we started to walk inside "hey maybe i might see dad!" i yip as i look down at the little green goblin like figure below me "your lucky that you are related to a scarer" mike looked forward but i couldn't tell if he was sad or not, as we walked i read a sign that said "we scare because we care" i then gulp a little but i float up a little, just so mike was still touching the ground

"now stay close together, we're entering a very dangerous area. welcome to the scare floor" the tour guide gestured to the scare floor and everyone gasped and some said 'woah, wow, amazing' the tour guide continued "this is where we collect the scream energy, to power our whole world. and can anyone tell me whose job it is to go get those screams?" we all replied with "scarers!". "thats right!" the tour guide smiled before continueing "now which one of you can give me the scariest roar". i hid my face in my wings because sometimes i felt like my roar was to scary or to much but to my surprise mike was yelling that he wanted to, some people started roaring then mike roared

everyone looked back and gasped but i knew that they could not be looking at mike, right? we all turned around and saw a huge group of scarers including my dad! and one of his friends wich said "well, hey there kids are you on a tour with your school?". "yeah" everyone replied, looking happy i then noticed my dad look at me and wink, i winked back and he chuckled "yes, we're here to learn about scream energy and what it takes to be a scarer!" mrs. graves smiled at frank, "well hey your in luck because i just so happen to be a scarer." frank went to turn his hat "i learned everything i know from my school, monsters university" the hat he had on read MU and i gasped lightly, frank then continued "its the best scaring school there is!" a green monster came up and snatched his hat and frank chuckled "you wish fear techs the best!" frank touch his hat back

"okay. you guys watch us and tell us which schools the best, all right?" frank asked as he walked away he looked down at me and mike "mu is" before he left he winked at me and gave me a small pat inbetween my horns and ran to the rest of the monsters, gosh i love my dads friends. mike and i went to watch, i let his hand free as we nearly went over the line but a hand came out to stop us "oh stop right there, dont cross over that saftey line human children are extremely toxic" he then pointed to a sign, everyone pushed in front of mike and me "hey watch it!" i growled lowly, leading to a yelp when someone stood on my tail "woah hey, guys watch the eye!" mike landed on his rear end and i helped him up, i growled at the other classmates

mike tried to watch between peoples legs but it was not working "mike come here" i whispered but he ignored me, probably did not hear me i noticed a yellow monster pushed mike "out of the way wawzoski, you dont belong o-" he was cut off by me growling at him and pushing mike behind me "oh oh, im sowy what is little fluffykins going to do to me" he joked "don't test me!" i growled and sharpened my claws to warn him and he turned back. rattling started from behind us and we both smirked at eachother and went under the thing

"mrs. graves micheal and (y/n) went over the line" a classmate pointed at us as we was just about to walk in "micheal! (y/n)!" she shouted, we both went in and hid in the shadows "be super quiet" i whispered to him and he nodded back. frank was just about to roar just as a light turned on and he ran to hide on a coat hanger, he opened his eyes and went back to the bed, bringing out his claws and stood up, the boy gasped and then screamed. frank went out of the room and everyone was wide eyed and frank was in confusion "what" he asked and turned around to see us, mike had a stupid smile on his face and i on the other hand was looking down, playing with my thumbs. not gonna lie i had felt a little bit of shame but then i looked up and put on a proud smile "are you alright! you could've gotten hurt" people surrouneded us and worried frank turned around and put on a stern face

"that was real dangerous kids, i didn't even know you were in there" mike and i frowned but frank made a sound and talked again "wow, i didn't even know you were in there. not bad kids" he gave his hat to mike and gave me a small braclet saying MU all around it, my dad and mrs. graves showed up "(y/n) are you alright dear!?" my dad kneeled down and inspected me "im fine dad, i'm not that dumb to know how to hide" i take his hand off my chin gently "what do you 2 have to say for yourself" i heard mrs. graves say. me and mike looked at eachother

"how do we become scarers!" we both smiled and i put my hands on my hips.
