chpter:9 (regrets)

Mike pov:

i watch (y/n) walk away and hear art say "we did it!" i turn around "no we didn't, we forgot the flag!" i jump at the voice of someone "uh.. mike" squishy was holding the flag of our team, i just look at him with a blank face "b-but.. how?" i stutter "misdirection" terri and terry kneel down and smile, we all hear the other team get thrown out "the eeks have been eliminated and oozma kappa lives to scare another day!" the bird like monster exclaimed "we're ok! we're ok!" the team chants, i look at them and put on a proud smile

we were walking back to the frat house "i've never felt so alive!" squishy has a happy face on "we were awsome!" terri says, sully interupts us "ok look, that wasn't real scaring" i groan a bit "it was better then what you did! you should've stuck to my strategy" he walks up the steps "whatever, talk to me when we start the real scaring" i put on a dissapointed and blank face, we all hear a car "hey! you guys going to the party?" one of the eeks ask "oh, i think you've got the wrong guys we don-" i shush him and look at the girls "party?" they reply with "the midgames mixer at the rors. its for the top scare teams, your one of us now right?" they giggle and drive away

"uh-uh, bad idea" i hear sully say but ignore him "this is great.. their finally seeing us as real scarers! we're going!" i exclaim.

(y/n) pov:

i was 8pm, me and johnny woke up from our sleep because they were hosting a party. javier was at the door letting people in while chet was drinking a lot, randy kept telling chet to calm down but he wouldn't stop. i sigh and walk over to them "chet, i think you had enough to drink" i pat him on the head and he groans "nooo, i'm fine (y/n)" randy takes away chets cup "you need to cut it down on the beer chet" randy says, throwing the cup in the trash "ughhh, lame" chet walks away and randy looks at me and at chet, we both start laughing and walk away from the bar "so (y/n), are you and johnny like together together or just together" randy asks "we're not really ready to label it yet" i look at randy while we go to sit down "trust me in 2 days, everyone will be talking about you and him. mostly the girls" he looks at the pnks

"i don't want people to put me as the centre of attention, i just want to live my life and not have people whisper about me" i sigh and randy puts a hand on my shoulder "don't worry about it. now lets go have fun" we both chuckle and get up, we see chet along the way thankfully he was not drinking, javier finished letting people in and was running up the stairs, chasing something "randy. is their anything going on between you and javier?" i mutter and he looks at me "no" i nod and we see the lights turn on, oozma kappa was here and everyone went silent

me and randy looked at eachother in the corner of our eyes, trying to hold in a laugh from the awkward silence "it's oozma kappa! these guys are crazy!" everyone exclaims and i back away with randy "i sort of turned on mike after he said those things to you about the scare final" randy says while we go into a room where most of the people was dancing and partying "yeah, i don't know what got into him. but i have a weird feeling about him" i gulp and look down "like what?" randy asks, leaning back on the table "i don't know, like he knows something" i mutter and stand next to him "just forget about it and don't overthink" randy smiles and i smile back

after a while, johnny wanted to announce something so the whole ror team and me went with him, he stood up and whistled "alright, quiet. quiet!" johnny shouts "quiet down you can wranglers" everyone goes silent and johnny continues "alright, on behalf of the rors". "yeah!" chet exclaims "we'd like to congratulate all the teams that have made it this far." johnny pauses for a second

"alright, lets hear it for the pnks!"

-the girls all giggle but then hiss with their red eyes

"love that trick! never gets old. hss!"

-one of the girls stick their tongue out and do a low growl

"very creepy, and finally the surprise team of the scare games.. oozma kappa!" johnny puts on a smile, mike and his team walk up to us and johnny starts talking again "now i gotta admit fellas, i thought you were a bunch of nobodys.. but boy was i wrong, lets hear it for oozma kappa!" he says and i look to my side and don't see randy 'eh, weird' i think and suddenly paint drops onto oozma kappa and i just look at them in shock "the most adorable monsters on campus." johnny says while javier, reggie and randy.. wait they never told me about this!? i just huff silently and walk away

i go up to my room were nobody could go and sigh, laying on my bed "wow- i hate mike but even so thats to far.." i mutter to myself and hear a knock at my door "oh.. come in!" i say and javier opens the door "hey, you ok?" he asks sitting next to me "its just- why didn't you guys tell me about this!" i stand up, looking javier dead in the eye "well- you see" javier stutters and i groan "whatever, just leave me alone" he sighs and walks out of my room "we was going to tell you. we just didn't know how" he mutters before leaving

i fall back on my bed, covering myself. i didn't even care to change i just went to sleep.

johnny pov:

after the party ended javier went up to talk to (y/n) while the rest of us watched tv, after 3 minutes javier came down "she was pretty angry that we didn't tell her" he says "I don't blame her. All of us knew expect her" randy looks at me and I sigh "but she hated mike? I don't understand.. I'll go talk to her" I walk up the stairs and see a note on her door that said "please do not come in"

I sigh and knock to try but no answer, knock again still no answer "(y/n), it's johnny!" I shout but still no answer. I huff and push down the door

Her window was wide open and there was nobody in the room, randy, chet and javier come up. Looking in the room "lets find her!" Javier drags us all out and we look for (y/n).

(Y/n) pov.

I was walking down the hall near the dorms, I didn't want to stay there I'll go back tomorrow. I get my keys out my pockets and open the door, sighing I lay down on the bed soon drifting off to sleep

- the next day -

I wake up and yawn, I notice I'm not in my dorm. I look next to me and see johnny, I groan and lay back down "it's 10am. You only just woke up now?" I hear johnny chuckle, I turn over facing him "why didn't you tell me?" I say in a stern voice

He sighs and hugs me, I jump at the sudden touch but then hug him back

It felt like time froze, it was just me and him.
