bloodline beginings

it has been a few days since naruto had felt this weird change in his chakra. it first started off as something annoying and bothering towards naruto so he decided to ignore it. to explain more about his predicament what happens is that naruto feels very weird when he is far away from plant life or anything that is close to nature in any way. so when let's say he walks on concrete, naruto feels very depressed and sad, becuase naturally concrete has no life inside it and is not remotely close to nature. and when he is walking on grass or is near a tree he feels happy and all of his nervousness or sadness goes away.

one day though he got so annoyed that he went to jiji (the sandaime hokage) to talk about his blessing (or curse).

it was a quiet day for the hokage of konoha. he was an old man and was clearly over his prime (or many people thought) but when he was in his prime he was knicknamed the god of shinobi. this being since he was the sudent of both tobirama and hashirama senju, the second and first hokage of konoha. he was also the teacher of the three legendary sannins which were all thought of as currently some of the strongest ninja in the elemental nations. he was also nicknamed the professor since he was one of the smartest people to ever live on this planet, and with his knowledge over jutsu's, taijutsu forms, genjutsu's and kinjutsu's he was a force to be reckoned with, even at this age. he was currently relaxing reading one of the many perverted books of his old student jirayia and was giggling hapilly like a little girl spying on her crush. the thing, or person, that stopped the old man's antics was a kid, no more than five years old bursting into his office. he quickly threw away the book behind him and hid his raging bone behind the office desk.

"hello naruto-kun."

"hey jiji! i have a question and since you are one of the smartest people i know i'm sure you will be able to answer me."

"ok naruto ask me then."

"well the last few days, i have been feeling weird. i think i've been experiencing a change in my chakra and ever since it stopped, i can't stay away from nature for too long. i don't know how to explain it differently but the only words that come to me are that nature feels like an extension to my body."

upon hearing those words hiruzen was shocked. last time he heard someone saying that nature felt like an extension to his body was the one and only, hashirama senju.

"ok then naruto, that is disturbing. can you do me a favour and come here next to me."

naruto did as he was told and stood next to hiruzen who then took out a small paper which the hokage said was chakra paper. he wanted naruto to channel his chakra in the paper so he could test something out.

when he did what he was told hiruzen was shocked. naruto had mokuton his theory was correct. not only that but he had an insanely strong water affinity too. when he channeled his chakra the paper immidiately crumbled proving a moderately strong earth nature but then suddenly water visciously covered the paper and drenched his hand too meaning he had an insanely strong water affinity. the last time hiruzen saw this water affinity is when tobirama had shown him what happened when someone had a water affinity.

"well naruto turns out this isn't a bad thing. looks like you have awakened your bloodline."

"what! i have a bloodline! since when!?"

"well turns out you have awakened the mokuton. the most powerful kekkei genkai known to all of the elemental nations. it was the power that only one person has ever mastered, and that was my sensei hashirama senju or otherwise known and shodaime hokage of konoha."

naruto's mouth dropped to the floor. that explains why he was so attracted to nature. he was built to love it. when he had read a book about all the kage's it said that hashirama had a very strong connection to the earth and he always had to be close to nature or wood. naruto smiled knowing he had something new that he couls start training on.

"well jiji how can i train my mokuton ability?"

"well i know another person here in konoha who has the mokuton ability. i will call him to meet you tomorrow and i will also give a paper to inform iruka about your recent discovery and that you will be skipping lot's of lessons."

naruto nodded at this and promised to himself to work really hard to try to master his mokuton to a level higher than even the first hokage.

"well naruto i want you during the academy training hours tomorrow to go to training ground 3 and meet your new sensei."

"ok jiji! i won't let you down. i am going to become stronger than even the first hokage with my mokuton.!"

hiruzen smiled at the small boys antics and thought to himself, 'i know you won't naruto senju.'
