Chapter 8:A relaxing day

Things were back to normal after Kirukiru's defeat and her temporal transfer. Well, almost back to normal.

Every girl in Kumagawa's class was staring at him, even the teacher. While beating Kirukiru has gained him a lot more popularity, that wasn't the reason. The reason was because the school's very chairman was sitting on his lap.

Koharu:Hm? What's this? You know a student's duty is to study, right? Please continue the lesson.

Rin:C-chairman, what do you think you're doing!? This is very inapropriate!

Koharu:Well, first and foremost, this is my school and I'm free to do whatever I desire in it. Second, isn't it natural to show this level of affection to your fiance.

Rin:Fiance!?

Koharu:That is what I said, yes. Oh my. Didn't you tell them anything, Misogi? Hiw cold of you.

Kumagawa:[Well, no one asked me anything about such a thing. We didn't really talk or see each other for a long time either, so the subject didn't come up.]

Koharu:Now that you say it, we both have been occupied with our own bussiness, haven't we. We did talk over the phone occasionally, butwe didn't kept much contact from your second year in...Hakobune, was it? How have things go, by the way?

Kumagawa:[Ah, while I was still at Hakobune I did manage to become the student council president. After that, my highschool life was pretty hectic. I've been at thirty-something schools, which all ended up destroyed. Tragic coincidences, I'm afraid.]

Koharu:Hehehe, sure. "Coincidences".

Koharu was confident, but not arrogant. She will not claim she understands Kumagawa the best, as she has meet both Medaka and Najimi in the past and saw the level of understanding they have for him. But she can claim she's one of the people that understand him the best, that's why she's certain he had his hand in those "coincidences".

Kumagawa:[The most noteworthy would be Suisou, in which I became president again, and Hakoniwa. I tried for president one more time there, but got stuck as the vice-president. Well, Medaka-chan was the president so I got to tease her and Zenkichi-chan a lot. Ah, I also finnaly defeated her. I'm quiet proud of that accomplishment.]

Koharu:Ehhh, really? That's amazing, Misogi!

She knew it. She knew he would do that one day. While her future husband may have claimed to be a total loser, she can't say any of those times were truly losses. Hell, he was the first person to ever defeat her. Sure, they may have been children at that time, but even at that time no adult was even able to touch her.

Well, he did claim he lost at the end. The one thing that was alwais annoying about him was finding some BS motive why he lost. Fortunately, it seems he hot over it. He truly has become a man, hasn't he?

Koharu:Still, I wish I knew sooner you were the transfer student.

Kumagawa:[I didn't know you were the chairman either, Koharu.]

Koharu:I should've put more attention on the files that guy gave me. Hakana, right? Nice old man, strange though.

Kumagawa:[It's not so strange, every member of the Shiranui Village had their name picked after some type of clothing. One of them is called Obi.]

Koharu:Huh, how about that.

Kumagawa:[You have no right right to call someone strange. You're the one who made that dungeon, you pervert.]

Koharu:I guess you're right. Wanna go there after classes?

Rin:Chairman!

Kumagawa:[Hm, I don't mind. I'm in lead, though.]
