"Gather around kiddies." Five year old Damion, stood up and banged on a trashcan. Kids huddled around him, sitting in the evenly cut grass.

"Damion, tell us the story again." The kids shouted in an excited tone.

"Okay, so long ago there was a pack of wolves called the moon race." The kids ooed and awed. "They were know as the most powerful and pure race of wolves. Everyone knows that wolves come in black, grey, brown. Guess what though you guys."

"They where white!" Little Damion nodded.

"Yes, and they could run five times faster than us and I was told they have super powers." The kids stood up clapping.

"They told us they could fly, they told me that they could punch through rocks. Well they told me they could control peoples minds." Damion smiled, as the kids shouted stuff in unison.

"Alright kids, its lunch time." Their teacher Ms. Willard, ushered them to the class. However what they didn't tell the children was why they went extinct. Poor Damion only knew of what his father would tell him late at night. His father was a politician and was a big man in the human world as well as the wolves king. He had a strange obsession with white wolves, Damion never quite understood why.

A couple of months later the manor was in a rush, his father was excited as he could be. Then Damion got the news, he would be having a little sister. Damion hated the idea at first, he liked being an only child. Until he meet her, he couldn't help but love the young child staring at him with bright blue eyes.

"Daddy, this is my sister?" His father nodded holding the carriage with a vice grip.

"Damion meet Luna." Damion's eyes sparkled as Luna smiled, he put his hand in her carriage and Luna gripped onto it. The quiet moment did not last long as Luna burst out in tears. Damion was afraid he had hurt her, but she merely needed her diaper changed.

"What did I do?" Damion snatched his hand back, His father chuckled patting his son on the head.

"Nothing, she is a baby Damion." Damion laughed at himself awkwardly as they walked into the manor.

Luna was spoiled like a princess in the manor, everyone was attracted to her innocence.

Years passed by and it was finally Luna's seventh birthday. Damion was now 12 by this time, his wolf form was black as night just like his fathers.

"Mom, why can't I go visit the city today!" Poor little Luna whined to her mom in an high pitched voice.

"Now honey, you are a girl damion is a boy." Trinity the woman's mother held the laundry basket to her side.

"I can take care of myself." Trinity dropped the laundry basket and ignored luna. Although she had raised the girl, her feeling for her were far from motherly.

"Go talk to your father!" She walked away from luna continuing her laundry.

"Fine." The girl ran to her father's study. Where he sat reading a book at his desk the words white wolf in gold print on the back and sides.

"Dad, can I finally go to the city today?" Mark sat up sighing, lifting his glasses from his face and folding them up putting them on his desk.

"Now honey you know you can't go to the city." Luna stomped her legs and whined more.

" That's not fair, Damion gets to go!"

"Honey, damion has already shifted into his wolf form, you have not. I don't want you to scare humans." Luna pouted, mark frowned.

"I won't change dad!"

"You don't know that." Luna knew he was done talking in the tone of voice he used. She ran out of the office and down to the hill in the back of the house. There, she saw damion and some other guys playing with a football and Frisbee. Damion was just about to toss the Frisbee before he saw luna crying and running.

"Hey, luna what's wrong?" He grabbed her arm and she shook him off.

"I hate you!" She ran further away and Damion gave chase.

"Stop, why do you hate me." Damion easily caught up to Luna now that he had enhanced speed.

"Its not fair, you get to go into town and I don't!" She rubbed her eyes.

"Want to go with me then?" Luna's eyes lit up as she nodded; excited. Damion grabbed her hands and they made it to the city, standing by the huge glistening water fountain in the middle of the town. Her dark brown hair turned light under the sun, her blue eyes gleaming. Instantly; and to no ones surprise she made friends instantly. A kind man handed her candy, as well as the other kids. Damion sat by the fountain his arms crossed smiling, little did he know this is just the beginning of his crazy obsession.
