The week went by really fast, so fast. I finally get my paycheck today and somehow ive managed to evade the boss. It wasnt really hard to any way since he seemed to never be at work. However i have to get my pay check from him. Shouldnt they have a secretary for this or something.
I opened the double doors and manuvered through the cubicles. Lucky i had the weekends off but some of these poor souls werent so lucky. My boss's office was at the end of the building on the top floor. What building do you know that doesnt have an employee elevator, well this one didnt. I sighed as i trugged up the long and never ending staircase.
"Good morning, getting your check today." A red haired lady greeted me at the top of the stairs. I nodded. Woah ! Ive never been this high up in the building before, it was beautiful. There was a huge slab of glass that over looked the entire city, there was desks instead of messy cubicles. "This wasy please." The lady lead me through a hall way and stopped at a door. I swear New York was so complicated. Whats wrong with a small building and just a simple office. "Here you are." The lady nodded towards the door and eased me into it.
Immediately i wanted to shed my skin and crawl away, wolf. I sighed and kept my head low.
"Hey, Why did you leave that night?" His voice seemed so deep compared to my tiny one. "Look at me." I slowly tilted my head up and was taken back by the man before me. In his room the light was dim and i could only make out very few feautures but now i could see how handsome he was. I took in his rounded face that shaved years off of him, his raven black hair, and electric green eyes that seemed to peirce through my soul. Stubble was barely visible on his chin. His lips started to move but i could only pay attention to how moist and soft they looked. He stood and his muscles tensed through his suit and white shirt underneath. I had to bite my tongue to keep from moaning when he stood fully. My boss, oh god my boss was perfect. "You there?"

I snapped out of my daze and got back to the fact that he is merely my boss and a wolf at that. I felt disgusted at myself that i was checking him out.
"Yes, Im here for my pay check." I walked up to him and his scent intensified. His aroma was appealing in a way it seemed familar. He chuckled his chest bouncing slowly with each laugh.
"I was asking why you left my home, not what you were here for." He walked up to me and our bodies were nearly grazing, i had to tilt my head up slightly to see his facial expression.
"I left becuase i had to go to work, why else would i leave." My hands wanted to graze over his body and rip open his jacket. Whats wrong with me, feeling attachted to a wolf like this, it wasnt normal for me.
"Oh i thought you had a problem with me being your mate." I smiled at him. Then realized what he said.
"Im your what?!" I nearly fainted at the thought of finding a mate. I wasnt even wolf yet. "No that cant be, i havent even changed into my wolf form yet, how can you be my mate." I shook my head and backed up from him but he would just close the distance by stepping closer towards me. I backed up more and we continued untill my back was against the wall and his was pressing into me.
"You, are mine." His warm breath left chills down my spine.
"I am not !" I was freaking out. "Please get off of me. My front burned while my back was freezing from the wall.
"I want to know more about you." He lowered his head into the crook of my neck and sniffed. "You, are you wolf?" He licked at my neck and i had to cover my mouth to keep the moans out.
"I dont know, I havent changed, Please get off of me." I pushed at his chest.
"I dont want to." He wraped his arms around my waist and pulled my body onto his, now my back was heating up. "Im not going to let you leave me again." He sniffed my hair and kissed my neck.
"Please." I begged feeling weak at his touch.
"Ok, Ill let you go on one condition." He Paused leaning off of me. "Tell me your name." I hestitated.
"Isis Knight." He pulled off of me and turned away.
"Is Dylan Knight your father." I stared into his eyes unsure of what angle he was getting at.
"How do you know his name?" He smiled brightly at me flashing his white teeth.
"Follow me." He walked out of his office and i didnt follow. This is what i get for being a wolf. "You coming?" His deep voice boomed out of the hallway. I might as well, i walked out of the office and trailed him out of the building. Jhonathan took out his phone and called someone. I listend in on there coversation.
"Hello, Dylan.... Yes i have her with me...30 minuets.... She doesnt know." He hung up and turned to smile at me. "Oh my names Jhonathan by the way." Like i didnt already know that.
"Where are we going?" I asked eager as i got into his black porsche.
"Its a surprise." I strapped into his car and he drove off.
We arrived at an empty camp site, with my dad standing in the clearing smiling at me. A man i havent seen for nearly 13 years of my life and now here he is standing in the middle of the woods with..wolves. What is Jhonathan getting me into.
"Where are we?" I sunk into the seat and kept my eyes glued to my father.
"Where at the Silver Kings pack home." He steped out of the car and walked around it opening the door for me.
"Silver kings why is it." I paused as my 'father' came to greet us.
"Its been so long Isis." His eyes filled up with tears, his face showed wrinkles due to his old age. "Ive missed you so much baby girl." My father wrapped his arms around me. "i have something important to tell you but lets not ruin this ruinion." He pulled back and stared at me. "What a fine woman you have become." Tears fell down his face, his grey hair was pushed back due to the wind. He looks so, old so tired.
"Why did you leave me?" Tears ran down my face and i felt rage consume me. "You left me with them, do you have any idea how tormented i was. The pain and suffering i had to go through." I pulled out of his grasp.
"I know, i was watching you. I had to leave, i found my mate as you found yours." He looked at jhonathan then back to me. "We need to get you dressed, your going to be our main event tonight on this full moon. I cant wait to see what a beautiful wolf you are."
"I dont want a mate , i want to stay human." I turned away from them and walked back over to his car.
"Wait, Isis!" A voice that i havent heard in a week shouted out to me and i turned around.
"Colten?" He was one of them too, he knew?
"Im sorry, but you have to change into your wolf form. I want to see you as well." He pleaded at me.
"I wont change any way its no use." I was stuck being a human, i gave up hope on my 20th full moon. I turned and walked back. "Fine ill stay, mostly because hes my ride any way." My father and Colten smiled.
"Good, Ill introduce you to the rest of the pack." One by one we greeted every one. They seemed nice, atleast nicer then my old pack. "Now your probaly curious as to why were called Silver Kings?" My father grabbed my hands and lead me to a campfire where kids were dancing and women had there bellys out standing near to the flames. "Jhonathan." He bowed to my boss. "Please show her my king." He stepped out of veiw from me and sat down on a log next to one of the other pack members. Jhonathan stepped forward and howled to the moon, his nice tan skin slowly became laced with silver fur, his face became that of a mutt and his hands and legs morphed into paws.
"This is why where called Silver Kings pack." I stared at jhonathan, and his wolf form. I knew his aroma was similar. The wolf from my dreams that night i slept in his bed was before me right now. His sliver fur glistened in the moonlight and he walked up towards me rubbing his nuzzle on my hand. I looked up at the moon and a howl escaped from my mouth. The only thing that i rember next was the pain, and howls from the silver wolf before i collapsed into the darkness.
