The brunette boy walked into the living room of his shack looking at the group scattered across the couch beds Kie was on the first couch snuggled in with the Wilson sisters as James and Violet were laid on the other "Morning guys" John B mumbled groggily "Morning" Kie replied looking at the two brunette girls next to her.

Charlie slowly opened her eyes before slamming them shut due to the bright light and then opened them again "Morning John" she sighed giving him a slight smile turning to the small brunette rested on her shoulder "It's time to wake up Ava-bug" she sang gently shaking the girl who let out a soft hum before rubbing her eyes with her small hands "Morning kiddo" John B greeted the small girl who gave him a smile "Will you guys shut the fuck up already?" James' deep voice asked as John B placed a photo of his dad on the wall.

Everyone missed Big John, he was like family to most people. To James, he was the closest thing he would ever get to a dad he taught him how to fish, surf you know the normal father-son stuff and when Charlie's dad died in the car accident he was really nice to her and Ava, letting them crash, helping Ava with homework, convincing Charlotte to not drop out of school and all of that.

Ava was gently pushed off Charlie's shoulder making the girl sit up straight as her sister got off the couch revealing her ripped denim shorts and green bikini top that clung to her petite body and walked into the kitchen getting two bottles out the fridge giving one to the small brunette who was now in the kitchen with her. Charlotte gave her sister the bottle full of water and opened her own bottle of vodka taking a drink walking out the side door "Morning Pope" she greeted scanning the decking "What are you looking for this morning?" he questioned the girl "My shirt." she sighed before her face lit up when she saw a crumpled up piece of blue clothing "What? Why?" Pope asked to the girl retrieving her shirt "Well perv, I'm pretty sure you took it off" she mumbled pulling the blue fabric over her head looking at the boy's confused expression as his heart started pounding.

"I'm kidding Pope but someone did take off my shirt" she chuckled as Pope smiled "I fucking hate you Charlie" he groaned making the girl laugh "You love me" she stated before her eyes trailed to John B laid in a hammock staring out to the ocean "I'll talk to you later." she said walking over to the boy in the hammock "He's not dead John, I know it." Charlie told him "Thanks for believing Charles." he mumbled.

The three brunette girls were sat in Violet's bedroom watching old videotapes of their performances at cheerleading competitions looking at the smiles on their faces, the swarm of red and white uniforms, the mix of hair colours, listening to the sound of the music, the audience clapping and their feet hitting the mats. That's when life was simpler Charlotte didn't have to worry about money, her mum, her sister, where to live, she was still friends with Topper and the Camerons and she was the head cheerleader but that was all gone now.

"Oh my god that's when you did that triple backflip onto the pyramid!" the tanned girl exclaimed making Charlie smile, it was crazy she could barely do more than one backflip onto a pyramid but somehow that day she did a triple backflip onto it. The group of girls continued talking until the vibration of Charlie's phone disturbed the conversation, she grabbed her phone unlocking it, her glazed blue eyes scanning over the message.

"It's John B, wondering where we're staying tonight." the brunette sighed making her sister give her a worried expression "Where are we going to stay Charlie?" Ava questioned concern evident in her tone, Charlie turned to her sister giving her a smile "Don't worry Ava-bug we'll go home mum will want us there to know we're safe because of the storm." she informed her getting her phone out to text John B again.

The boy looked at his phone after he finished the call with DCS seeing a text from the girl he was messaging prior to making the call about rescheduling.

John B's heart sank the two sisters were great to have around, the château would be quiet without the two of them. He absolutely loved having the sisters at the cheâtu they made it less lonely but he understood why they needed to go because of the storm and they didn't want social services to get on their backs as they did with him. He sighed before replying to the girl's text.

Charlotte had left Ava with James who was going to take her to their house and she was now on her way to the beach to meet Pope and John B. The brunette parked her truck next to the beachfront, now you may wonder how did she get a truck if she struggles to support two people it was Big John's truck that John B gave to the girl after his dad went missing as he knew how much it would mean to his dad that Charlotte got the truck.

The brunette took off her shoes placing them on her backseat before removing her top and shorts revealing her bikini and leaving the truck grabbing her surfboard from the cab before running over to the two boys on the beach "Hey" Pope and John B exclaimed as the girl came into sight "So are we gonna do this or what?" she asked making John B smirk "That's the spirit!" John B cheered doing the pogue handshake with the girl before they started jogging over to the waves "It's a double overhead out there bro" the brunette boy called out "A double overhead?" Pope repeated "That'll be fun to ride" Charlie laughed "That's what she said" John B replied laughing slightly as the girl sent him a glare "I'll shut up now" he mumbled.

They stopped in their tracks looking at the vicious waves caused by the storm "Guys those are unrideable waves" Pope muttered watching the waves fight each other some swallowing each other as the two laughed "Says who?" the boy asked "I'll race you" he said turning to the girl next to him making her lips curl into a smirk "You're on" she spoke starting to run to the waves the boy following behind her. The two brunettes surfed on the vicious waves even getting caught in a wave before the two noticed a boat getting pushed and pulled by the waves no way to get out "Holy shit" the girl mumbled "What the hell" the boy muttered fixing his wet hair.
