Chapter 1

Kodie's P.O.V

Hi my name is Kodie I have lavender hair and bright blue eyes I'm tall I'm 16 years old and I like music such as Black Veil Brides Pierce The Veil Of Mice And Men and Blood On The Dance Floor but that's only a few. Black Veil Brides is definitely my favorite though. I live in an orphanage and I have since I was 3 when my parents died in a car accident.

I woke up and did my normal routine to get ready. I showered and then picked out my outfit I choose skinny jeans that were half black and the other half was white and black stripped with a Black Veil brides tank top I blow dried my hair and brushed it then put on a beanie and I put on my favorite combat boots. I was putting on my makeup when someone came in the room and told me to come downstairs because someone was getting adopted. I finished my makeup and grabbed my phone and headphones and put them in and started playing my music really loudly and I went stood in line with everyone else. I wasn't paying attention when I felt someone grab my chin and pulled my head up and when I looked to see who it was I was shocked I was looking at Ashley Purdy "no fucking way" I said just loud enough for him to hear and I took my headphones out "nice music" he said and walked away and I realized In The End was playing. He looked at everyone else then went and talked to the supervisor and then they turned around and the supervisor said "Kodie go get your stuff your being adopted" I instantly ran upstairs and started packing. I was walking out the door when I realized I forgot my books so I turned around and grabbed my books and went downstairs

"Are you ready to go" Ashley said

"Yes"

"Good try not to freak out when you meet the rest of the boys"

"Ok" we got in his car and went back to his house

"So do you like to read" he said

"Yes I love reading"

"Cool"

"Yep"

"Well we're here are you ready to meet the boys"

"Yes" I said and we walked inside and all they boys looked at me weirdly

"Guys this is Kodie I adopted her" Ashley said and they all hugged me

"Guys I can't breathe let go" I said

"Oh sorry" Andy said

"So are you a fan of our music" CC said

"Of course" I said motioning toward my shirt

"Oh ya" he said

"So what do you guys wanna do" Andy said

"I'm fine with whatever" I said

"Ok let's just chill and get to know Kodie" Ashley said and we all sat down and talked and they asked me a lot of questions. Andy was quiet most the time. After a while we decided to watch a movie and I sat next to Ashley and Andy. I started to get really tired and I fell asleep with my head on Andy's shoulder.

The Next Morning

When I woke up I was still on the couch with my head on Andy's shoulder. I got up and found my way to the bathroom and when I went back to the living room Andy was awake

"Hey" he said

"Hey" I said and sat down next to him

"Did you sleep good"

"Ya did you"

"Ya" we didn't really talk much it was kind of awkward. After a while the rest of the boys came into the living room and we all started talking and Ashley tried to make breakfast but he burnt it so I helped him and then we all ate.
