Chapter 8

Kodie's P.O.V

I woke up and went and made breakfast for myself. After breakfast I wrote a note that I was going for a walk. I went upstairs and put on black high waisted shorts and a white crop top. I grabbed my skate board and left. I was skateboarding for a few hours until Ashley called me

'are you coming home sometime today'
'I plan on it why'
'I was just wondering don't stay out too much longer we have plans'
'okay I'll be home soon'
'okay'

I started heading home. I was almost home and I checked my phone and then accidentally ran into someone

"I'm so sorry" I said

"It's fine" a guy with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. He looks really familiar.

"Do I know you"

"I'm Josh we have history together"

"Oh yeah I have to get going sorry I'll see you tomorrow"

"See ya"
That was weird I feel like I've seen him somewhere other than school. I got home and Nikki was there.

"Hey Nikki"

"Hey Kodie"

"Where's Ashley"

"He's getting ready to go"

"Where's he going"

"We're all going to do something he won't tell me"

"That must be why he said we had plans"

"I guess"

"I ran into this guy today and I go to school with him but I swear I've seen him somewhere else"

"You'll figure it out"

"Yea I will"

"Ashley told me about you and Andy"

"Oh"

"Are you okay"

"I guess. There's not really much I can do"

"If you need someone you can talk to me"

"Thank you Nikki"

"Are you girls ready to go" Ashley said

"Yea Ashley but will you please tell us where were going" Nikki said

"We're just going to spend some time together"

"Okay" we left the house and Ashley drove us to a restaurant. When we got there we sat down and I saw Josh again.

"Nikki"

"Yes"

"That's Josh right there"

"He's cute"

"I swear I've seen him somewhere other than school"

"What are you girls talking about" Ashley said

"Nothing" I said

"Kodie knows that boy over there" Nikki said

"Nikki" I said

"What he was gonna find out what we were talking about eventually"

"True" we continued through lunch and all I could think about is where I've seen Josh. I was spaced out when all the sudden Nikki was squealing

"Kodie look at my ring"

"That's beautiful"

"Are you excited for us to get married"

"Married? Did I just miss something"

"Ashley just proposed"

"Oh my gosh really I'm so happy for you guys"

"You have to be a bridesmaid"

"Okay anything for you Nikki" eventually we went home and I went to my room and laid down. I was scrolling through youtube and my favorite youtuber uploaded a new video. I clicked on it and I knew where I'd seen Josh. He was my favorite youtuber. I ran downstairs. I had to tell Nikki

"Nikki I know where I've seen him"

"Where"

"He's my favorite youtuber"

"That's awesome"

"I have to talk to him tomorrow at school"

"Yes you totally should"

"This us turning out to be a really great day!" I went back up to my room and watched his new video he was exploring an abandoned building a few towns over. I watched more of his videos till I eventually fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and got ready for school I couldn't wait to see Josh. I have second hour with him and I couldn't wait. I called Jessica to see if she wanted to get coffee before school and she said yes so we rode our skateboards to Starbucks and we both got our drinks then headed to school. When we got there we both went to our lockers then to class. I could not concentrate during first hour and as soon as the bell rang I rushed to history. When I got there Josh was already in his seat and I sat next to him

"Hi Josh"

"Hi"

"So I thought you looked familiar yesterday and I finally figured out where I've seen you before"

"Um okay"

"You're my favorite youtuber"

"Shhhhhh I don't want anyone to know"

"Why"

"Because I don't want then to judge me more than they already do"

"Okay it'll be our secret"

"Okay" class started and I was in such a good mood and when it came to lunch time I wanted to talk to Josh again.
