The sun is rising and there's a fresh crisp breeze. I rubbed my eyes as I slipped out of bed. I put my uniform on and slipped on some sandals. I walked to the kitchen and microwaved some left overs from last night and ate. I looked at the flowers on my table and I got reminded of her. Her beautiful glistening diamond eyes. Filled with so much joy when she smiles. Kind and welcoming. I looked at the time as I finished eating and jumped. I'm gonna be late. I slipped off my sandals and slipped on some tennis shoes. I quickly grabbed my keys and walked out the house. I locked the door and walked over to my car. As I was unlocking my car, I look at my amazon delivery locations for today. I see her address. I smile and sit in my car. I get to work and immediately see my manager. He looks at me in pure anger. I quickly put my phone in my pocket. I lock my car and slip my car keys in my pocket. After standing still for a few seconds, I walk up to my boss. He glares at me. He starts off telling me very sternly, " good morning A/B. " Not even letting me respond he immediately said, " I'll be deducting an hour of payment from today's work for being late. DO NOT disappoint me again. " After all, my sister did help me get this job. I got my first packages and delivered them. My first delivery was to this old widowed woman. She was friendly, but some days she was bitter. I like my job. I get to meet new people. I just don't like my boss. He's really stern. If you mess up even the littlest, he'll be deducting an hour from a worker's pay. Not only that but if his favorite worker messes up once, they don't have any deductions. It's only after the third mistake where a third of an hour of pay is deducted. I didn't pay much thought to work though. I was looking forward to my second to last delivery of the day. Y/N. I put a lot of thought into what I say to her. I know a few things about her. Not much since I only see her during work hours though. She loves coffee and flowers. Sapphires and Rose Gold. She has a beautiful Rose Gold Pendant. I pull up onto her drive way. I practice my smile a little before walking on the drive way. I knock at the door. She seemed to answer the door in a bit of a rush, but we locked eyes. Her beautiful diamond eyes. I handed her the amazon package and we stood there for a few seconds. After a few seconds I walked to my car and got in. I asked if she'd like to get coffee sometime. She agreed. I drove off and finished my other deliveries. I'll ask my buddy that knows her to give me some more info on her.
