It was mid-August at the Village, year 2002. Screams could be heard throughout the halls of castle Dimitrescu. Footsteps could be heard scrambling down the stairs to the first floor. A girl around the age of four years, beautiful raven curly hair, a small scar resided on her cheek took the railing to go at a much faster pace to flee from whatever seemed to be chasing her. Once at the end of the railing she jumped off and quickly went into the Hall of four, skipped a few steps on the stairs then ran to the right opening: knowing it was a dead end. She quickly ran through the hall and closed the doors behind her and looked to the fireplace: no fire was set and it seemed to have been cleaned just recently. She smiled, quickly, she opened the gates and quickly crouched down and crawled, there was a hole in the wall big enough to fit her small body into. She turned behind her and closed the gates, she turned back and followed the path leading her to a bigger area.

She saw a statue in front of her, seemingly missing an eye. She looked around the small room and found it in the skull of a skeleton. She didn't pay any mind to the skeleton and easily took out the piece needed. The girl then walked back to the statue, on her tippy toes she was finally able to put the piece in. The statue then flipped halfway to allow entrance and exit from the room. Slowly, the girl popped her head out and looked to both sides of the hallway, vigilant for any sight of life. When she was in the clearing she took the chance and went right, she began hearing voices as she walked closer.

"Mother! I'm telling you! She entered the hallway headed toward the bedroom chambers, she hasn't been seen since." The taller woman laughed.

"She did, did she? Camilla! Love, come out! I will teach you a much better game to play with that brilliant mind of yours." The girl watching not too far from them ran to the taller woman and lunged towards her legs and firmly held onto her leg. Alcina looked down and smiled.

"Hi, Mama." Alcina reached down and lifted Camilla by her waist and brought her to rest on her hip then laid her little one's head on her collarbone and gently kissed the side of her head.

"Hello, my little warrior. You've been keeping your sisters quite busy haven't you?"

"Mmm. I guess so." Alcina laughed at that. Camilla was always a wave of fresh air when it came to her curiosity and bluntness. She always had an effect on Alcina that wouldn't simply stop, oh, what she would give to keep her child at this age.

"You do have studies to take care of, my love...." Camilla began to grumble.

"But History isn't as fun as Math... Science... or English..."

"Now, now. I know how much you hate the subject of history. But these are your last few classes..." Camilla gave a pout in response.

"Doesn't make it any better..."

"Oh, but it will..."

"Mmmmm. Okay. Oh! Hi Bela!" Camilla finally acknowledged her sister's presence. Bela smiled, shaking her head lightly, amused with the situation in total.

"And I thought I needed to fear for your life. You yourself are one adventure to be discovered. I'm sure you've taken the same way to get away multiple times. I know I'm close to finding your secret passages and when I do, I'll catch you next time."

"Nuh uh. You think you are but you really aren't, if you were I would've already been caught." Camilla smiled proudly, knowing she stumped her sister gave her pride.

"Maybe, not yet."

"Maybe." Alcina continued to spectate, she smiled knowing that Bela had finally swayed.

For two years now Bela had been most protective of Camilla. When Alcina would leave for meetings, Bela would feed Camilla, and help put her to bed along with Daniela: who would always take care of her sister. Though, Cassandra was a different story. If anything, she avoided Camila like the plague. Camilla didn't understand why she acted as such. Whenever Camilla were to try to approach Cassandra, Cassandra would give her a look of disgust and walk away. Now Cassandra tries her hardest to bring Camilla down with her words knowing that Camilla would take it to heart, also knowing that she wouldn't say anything to their mother without feeling bad about it.
