They were walking on the path through the fields. It was a comforting silence between parent and child. The canine walked on the other side of his master. That was until the silence was broken.
"Mama..." Alcina smiled, she hummed in the question of what her little warrior needed. "How much do you know?"
"From your letter? Whatever was written."
"Are... you upset with me breaking contact?" Alcina contemplated, she looked at her daughter's figure in the corner of her eye. She seemed distraught.
"How do you feel about the matter, my little one?"
"I-I didn't want to. I was scared though. I couldn't write it knowing you'd probably hate me. I could only keep in contact with Uncle Karl through radio signals. That itself would be a rare occasion. It would change every so often that we only got to have fifteen and if lucky, twenty minutes conversations. So much I wanted to say..." Tears began to cloud Camilla's vision.
"The last letter you sent..." Camilla looked up at her mother in slight shock. Alcina looked down at her child with a small smile, she knelt and brushed Camilla's cheek with the back of her hand in a loving manner. "Don't cry... I simply want to know what happened, what did it mean?"
"I-i..." Her breathing became ragged. Giles whimpered, he began to lick Camilla's fingertips to grab her attention. Camilla's attention went to him, they simply stared at each other. Throughout that time her breathing began to calm. She seemed ashamed of herself. She looked back to her mother to find her looking on with concern. "I'm sorry..." Alcina simply shook her head in response and began to caress her warrior's head.
"There is no need for that, my little one." She cooed. "All will be alright within time, it seems to me that you are in a continuous battle with your demons. I will be here for you when you need it."
Camilla nodded and grabbed her mother's hand and gave a tug. She understood, with a smile they walked to the entrance of the castle.

The entrance doors opened and closed not too long after. Swarms of flies approached only to form three young women. They all came to greet their mother's return, only to find she brought company.
"Mills!" The blonde one of the three, with a red pendant on her neck, exclaimed.
"Pleasure to see you again, Bela! It's been such a long time-" Camilla was cut off by her eldest sister hugging her. She was slightly surprised by her actions but recuperated them.
"No fair! Bela! I want to have a turn!" The red-haired one of the three, with a green pendant on her neck, complained. Camilla laughed in response. She opened her arms towards the redhead, said redhead squealed, and rushed in to join the hug.
"You were always the jealous one, Daniela."
"Nuh-uh! I was the first out of us. I deserve some love too!" Camilla chuckled.
"Now, now. No need to fight, I can surely love you both at the same time." The two sisters were slightly shocked by the maturity heard in her words. They leaned back from the embrace to give her inquisitive looks. She could only respond with, "What? Do I have something on my face?"
They shook their heads and simply smiled. The only sister left was the brunette, with a yellow pendant, glare ever so apparent, arms crossed and eyes filled with unsaid rage.
The three separated from their embrace Camilla simply looked on. There was a tension growing, they simply stared at each other, Bela and Daniela looked to their mother for answers. She only shook her head: deciding to watch what would occur.
