Red ending

I run over to Red's portal and let him pull me in. I feel the ground underneath me disappear but just as I was about to panic, Red put an arm against my back and one under my legs, then squeezed me in a hug. I look up at him to see him giving me a cheesy smile. I smile back and rest my head on his chest.

I was starting to close my eyes from -somehow- feeling comfortable is his arms, when we reached the end of the portal. Red lands on the ground with a thump. I was in a pretty empty room, a mattress in the corner with sheets in a ball, and box being used as a desk with a lamp on top in the other corner, and a bunch of socks everywhere.

"Welcome home, Sweetheart." I look back down at Red and tilt my head.

"'Sweetheart'?" Red chuckles and smirks.

"You heard me right." I blush as he gives me a peck on the forehead. Oh, boy.

Years later...

I was in the basement, painting on the wall in one of the empty rooms. There was a black and red crib, and a pink and black one. I have a feeling the girl twin will prefer pink instead of red. Red keeps on telling me the babies can't decide what colors they like, but every time he says that I feel that she's like, "smh -_-".

I finish one of the roses on the wall and smile happily. I felt like the boy wanted the walls to be covered in thorn filled roses. That reminds me of a time me and my brother were hiking up a mountain. He said people are like roses, each ones beautiful and special but they all have thorns or problems.

So if you reject someone for their problem, it's like grabbing a rose and hating it because it has thorns (actual quote from my bro). I'll tell my kids that when they're older, they'll probably like that story. Maybe not, I just have to find out. The door suddenly opens and red walks into the room.

"Here's the paints that you wanted." He places them down on the ground beside me and gives me a kiss. I smile as he pulls away, he smiles back.

"I can't wait for the babies to come." I say.

"I can't wait to see your smile when they come." Red says, I blush and Red wraps his arms around me. Red is just like a rose, he has his thorns but is still beautiful. I don't regret choosing him, not the slightest bit.
