'I never wanted to die'
Is what I had hoped to say,
I'm sorry mom and dad...But life led me astray.
Looking back I wish I could've stayed atleast one more day.I miss the scent of stone brick walls,
That one elderly couple yelling in the halls.I envy them, looking back.
I wished I could've grown old maybe even bitter. It would be better,
Than being a quitter.I wished I had the courage, to ask her out...
I was scared of the stares, I would've gotten if I went that route.
I watch her even now.
She's happily married, has kids of her own.'Sammy, I'm happy for you.
I really am, though I atone...I'm sorry of leaving when you needed me the most."
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone"
Theres alot of things, I wished to say.
But my times up.
My name's Lilian, I hope you stay.
