The day soon became night and the four went to a teahouse to eat.

"You're unbelievable! Who goes 'that's a nice river' and jumps into it in the middle of a job?!" Kunikida said which makes (Y/n) choke on her food, while Atsushi just continue eating his food.

*Cough!*

*Cough!*

'I definitely won't gonna do that without any good reason.' thought (Y/n) as she drink some water.

"Thanks to you, look! Look how of schedule we are now!" He said angrily .

"You sure do like your schedules Kunikida." Dazai said

Kunikida slams down his book that says 'Ideal' on the cover, which makes (Y/n) flinch but thankfully no one notice it. "This isn't a schedule! This is an ideal! My guide in life! And nowhere in this book is written that my work partner is a suicidal maniac!" Kunikida was standing up while Dazai was just there unbothered.

Atsushi then said something in gibberish that neither (Y/n) or Dazai understand any of it.

"Shut up! Nowhere on my projected expenses page will you find written that I will buy a million bowls of tea on rice for two snot-nosed brat!" Kunikida said.

'Hah! Who are you calling snot-nosed brat?! For your information dear sir! I'm a snot-nosed brat! Not in your dreams! Not in a million years!' Inner (Y/n) said in disagreement which makes (Y/n) nodded but again no one noticed.

Atsushi once again said something "like I said, it's a job!" Kunikida answered making Atsushi make noises again.

"Our job today? It involves the military." Kunikida said making Dazai and (Y/n) have a dotted eye expression.

"Dazai-san, did you understand a thing on what Atsushi-kun's saying?" (Y/n) whispered to Dazai.

"No, not one bit. You?" Dazai whispered back. "Same." The two looked at each other and nodded.

"How are you two communicating, actually?" Dazai and (Y/n) asked together making Atsushi and Kunikida look at them in confusion.

"Don't tell me his some kind of alien Dazai-san." (Y/n) whispered.

"Pfft! Alien! Ahahahahaha!" Dazai laughed genuinely to what (Y/n) said which makes her surprised but none the less she smiled.

'kya!! Dazai-san is so handsome!'

"Man, that was a good one (Y/n)-kun!" He exclaimed "why, thank you kind sir." (Y/n) jokingly bowed.

After Atsushi finished eating, he then said "I'm so full. I don't want to see another bowl of this for at least ten years." Kunikida irked at this "Why you....how dare you be so shameless after eating on my dime."

"You're a real life saver." Atsushi said making Kunikida stop irking and looked at him. "After leaving the orphanage and coming to Yokohama, I've had nothing to eat and nowhere to sleep. I thought I'd die of starvation." Atsushi stated.

"Your from an orphanage?" Dazai asked "Putting it in one way, yes. But they kicked me out." Atsushi answered

"That's some none-profit there." Dazai said "Hey, Dazai! We're not some philanthropists going around helping brats down on their luck, okay? Let's get back to the job at hand." Kunikida said.

"That reminds me, you said earlier that your current job involves the military. What is your line of work exactly?" (Y/n) asked, tilting her head, even though she already knew the answer but she didn't want to get them suspicious.
