Luna's Perspective
I laid against a rock in the sun. I soaked in the heat. Roka laid beside me. I stared up at the clouds. I recalled Ann telling me that you could see shapes in the clouds and interpret messages from them. It was called cloud divination she had said. I smiled as I saw one shift into a halo. I could already guess that it had a meaning from Spirit that I was already holy. I put my hands together to practice making a ball of light. Small wisps of blue lightning shot off my fingertips. Roka jumped beside me.

"What did you just do?" He exclaimed.

"I just shot energy from my fingertips." I said.

"You can do that?" His eyes bugged out of his head.

"It hasn't been working how I expected lately. It hasn't been flowing out of me. It's chaotic." I said.

     "That's a problem." He said.

We heard a crash in the forest. Our heads snapped to the direction of the noise. Small green blobs appeared on the horizon. We gave each other a knowing glance. The goblins were back.

"That's a real problem." He groaned.

We jumped off the rock and into action. I pulled my sword from my belt and sashayed through the trees. The goblins ran towards us. There were five of them. They bared their teeth and flexed their claws. I sliced my sword through the air. It was capable of dicing all of them. Three of them lunged at Roka. He valiantly used his sword. He sliced each one as he whipped his sword around. I handled the last two. They jumped and dodged my blade. I took my free hand and concentrated as I swung my sword at them. My hand tingled. I let loose. Zaps of energy shot at them. They yelped like wounded dogs and retreated. Roka gave his three a few good swipes before they followed suit and retreated too.

"That was too easy." Roka said with a laugh.

"My magic helps." I said with a smile.

    "Thank you, beautiful." Roka said.

He grabbed my hands and pulled me onto the trails. We walked through the trails that were headed back to camp. We had to tell the others that goblins had tried to raid the town again. I was nervous about talking to them about my magic. It was an iffy thing. I couldn't rely on myself to be able to pull it off every time. As I looked into the distance I swore I saw a green dragon flying through the air. I wondered was that Bean, Mozale's dragon?
