Taehyung's Little Flower

Somewhere in a shop in another town...

"Look Papa! I found the Bluey stuff!" Little Jimin bounced on his heals.

Little Joonie hurried over but then tottled off again. He spotted a stack of plush crabs. They had glitter on their shells and came in different colours. He picked up two pink ones and quickly walked to where Little Jimin and their caregiver Jungkook were. He smiled at himself for remembering not to run.

"What do have there, Joonie?" asked Jungkook.

"Present. For Daisy." The boy dimple smiled holding up the crabs.

"She only needs one", said Jungkook.

"Can I have the other one, pleeease. I didn't run and I didn't break anything."

"Papa, can we get this?" Jimin held up a narwhal. "Why is it heavy?"

Jungkook took the narwhal from Jimin for a closer look.

"It has a bag inside full of special beads that you heat up. It's a bit like using a hot water bottle. I think this is a good gift."

Joonie looked disappointed, "But what about the crabs?"

"We will get her both so she has something chosen by each of you. And yes, you have both been good so you can each pick a toy for yourselves." Jungkook said.

At Taehyung's house.

Daisy was excited. She sat by the window in the front room clutching Ginger the gingerbread stuffy. Soon her new friends arrived.

"Appa, they are here!" she called out. She waited patiently by the door.

Taehyung opened the door and the arrivals were showered with hugs from Daisy and licks from Yeontan.

Jungkook had come to pick Daisy up for a play date in the park with Little Jimin and Little Joonie. Taehyung had packed Daisy's backpack with some snacks and water.

They hugged goodbye and Jungkook drove them to the nearby park. The park was specially built for littles, Little Cloud Park.

Back home Taehyung sprung into action. Yoongi and Hoseok arrived soon after Jungkook left. They began putting up decorations and blowing up balloons. Jin arrived with food. They set up games in the garden, a table with the littles' favourite foods and a table with presents.

Jungkook checked the time.

"It's time to go, kiddos!" he called out. The two boys came running but Daisy stayed on the swing. It was her favourite piece of playground equipment.

Little Joonie and Little Jimin packed their bags quickly. They were excited about the surprise party.

Jungkook eventually managed to get all three littles into the car.

"Why are you so happy about having to leave?" She asked the boys, pouting.

"You know what would be fun? Sing-alongs!" said Jungkook quickly turning on music before Joonie could let anything slip out.

When they arrived home Taehyung was outside waiting to greet them.

"Did you have fun Little Flower?" he asked picking up Daisy.

"Yes Appa, but I wish we didn't have to leave so soon".

"If you had stayed at the park any longer you would have been late".

"Late for what?"

"Come with me."

Taehyung put Daisy back down and walked her to her room.

"Change your clothes" Taehyung pointed to the clothes on the bed, "then come out to the garden."

Daisy was puzzled but put her party dress on.

When she went outside everyone was waiting. The garden was beautifully decorated and the food looked so good.

"Welcome home, Daisy!", said Taehyung opening his arms. "We all wanted to give you a welcome party."

Daisy went around the group hugging and thanking each of them.

They ate, danced, played party games (musical bobs, statues and chairs).

Daisy loved her gifts. A crab, narwhal and book from Jungkook, Jimin and Joonie; My Little Pony story books from Jin; a soap making kit from Hoseok, kinetic sand from Yoongi, and a Bluey plate and cup from Taehyung.

When it was time for everyone to leave Daisy was very sad.

"Hey, it's ok" said Yoongi, patting the little's head. "You will see us again next time."

Everyone went home and Taehyung helped Daisy get ready for bed. He read her one of her new books and tucked her in with her new plush friends. It had been the best day ever.
