i'm fine. i'm used to it now. mason cuddled me to sleep last night. i was an absolute wreck.

i just don't know what to do. every time i feel comfortable enough to leave the comments on, i just get attacked again. there's only so much i can take.
the one thing i learned is to not let it affect your relationship with your best friend. if you let the hate get the better of you then you'll lose him. trust me, i let it affect me and i almost lost luke for good. i know how much mason means to you, so don't let that happen. for both your sakes.

when i was crying in his arms last night, he didn't just hold me and tell me it'll be okay. he said that he would choose me and our friendship over football and fame every time. and god knows i don't want him to do that, he's a superstar.
of course you don't. i know you. you'd walk away a thousand times if it meant he could succeed. no matter how much it would break you.
but whenever i try to talk to him about the change, he just brushes it off. i really don't know how much longer i can do this. when we're alone, together, everything is amazing. but as soon as he's away or out in london, the mason i know disappears.
i really don't know what to say, ellie. this never happened with luke. maybe just see how it goes for a little bit longer? the winter schedule is crazy so it's probably just getting to him. and he's probably up in the clouds because of his season so far and the fact that he just scored his first goal for the country.
i guess so. we're doing the interview on friday so i'll see him then. i'll let it cool off for a few weeks and then see him at christmas. is that a good idea?
i think it's the best thing you can do right now. but be honest with him if he asks what's going on. you've never lied to him before so why start now?
