"My name is Weasel." the little girl - who easily could have been mistaken for a boy - said as she drew water of the well. Harrenhal was a dim place and it saddened your heart to see such young children serve under Lord Tywin.

"Why do care anyways?" she snarled and tried to slip past you. You grabbed her shoulder and pushed her into the cover of shade - a great spot where the first lights of dawn hadn't reached yet. "You are familiar to me." You studied her face and realization suddenly hit you: it was Arya Stark standing before you, with short untamed hair and wearing rags. "My lady Stark" You said and let go of her tunic, knowing she was going to stay after all.

"Who are you?" Arya asked. "I don't remember you from King's Landing."

"That's because I have never been there. I am (Y/n) of House Veracity. You might remember my uncle, Bryon the Sincere, who served your lord father as an advisor back at Winterfell." you answered and hoped she'd remember at least your uncle.

"Truth hurts..." she muttered the words of your house and you remembered the men who had used those words to mock you, because you were different. You weren't like any other maid. Your wits were always sharp, but you kept your blades sharper. Fighting was in your blood. Some say you took after your Dornish grandfather who had been a great warrior in his time. Men feared you at archery practice, because you shamed even the best shots. However, using a tomahawk or a sword was no problem for you either. Your speed and skills compensated the fact that you weren't the strongest.

"That is correct, my lady." you said respectfully. "Just stop that already." Arya bit back and chewed her lower lip. "I'm no lady."

You grinned and realized you would love this kid very much - mostly because she reminded you of yourself so much. "I have a feeling we will get along very well." She grinned back at you. "I think I remember you now. You were the girl fighting in the yard with the tomahawk."

"You are right, Weasel. That was me." You replied and sneaked a glance at her.

Arya smiled slightly. "I guess that means my secret is safe."

...

You worked hard all day. Sweeping the narrow corridors, drawing water from the well, serving the men with food and flagons of ale. Your back and arms ached. You slowly walked towards the servants' quarter through a dark alley when someone grabbed you and pushed you hard against the stone wall. It was a Lannister guard, his crimson cloak gave him away the very first moment. You prepared yourself to fight - the man was probably drunk and you wouldn't let any man have his ways with you without putting up a fight. As it turned out, the guard was more than sober. He blocked your blow aimed at his head and pinned it to the wall.

"A man knows it all."

"A woman knows some as well. Why don't we trade?" you asked sarcastically.

"Does a woman think it some game?" the mysterious guard asked and pressed a dagger to your throat. "A woman is mistaken."

"What do you want?" you asked and tried to pull away from the blade.

"A man only wants a girl to be safe. A girl owns a man three names. A man must protect a girl to get his names." He looked at you somewhat sadly. "A man hates to slit a beautiful woman's throat... But if he has to."

At that moment, you drew your well-concealed dagger from the rags you were wearing and pressed the blade to his neck. "If I die, you come with me as well."

The man was clearly impressed and smirked at you. "A woman is bold, a man must say."

"Stop! Don't hurt her!" Arya shouted and came jogging towards the two of you. "Jaqen, leave her be."

"As a girl wishes." Jaqen let go of you and put his dagger away. His eyes lingered on you for a moment and he gave you a small smirk before turning to Arya. "A man asks for a name."

"I need more time to think." Arya said and turned to you. "Are you okay?"

You nodded and muttered something about some stupid courteous Braavos'i trying to slit your throat, but apart from that being fine.

Arya left and Jaqen turned to face you once more. "This was not the last time a woman saw the man."

"And why is that?"

"Because a man has just stolen something from a woman."

"What would that be?"

Jaqen leaned close to you. You shivered and closed your eyes, feeling his breath fanning your neck. He then whispered in your ear. "Her heart."

You opened your eyes and you were all alone in the alley.
