Buckys pov
I convinced her to come to the main floor to eat with us. She holds her head high as we leave the elevator but I can tell she's anxious. I decide to slide my hand in hers and give it a squeeze. She squeezes it back. Eyes move to us and she lets out a small growl and I mutter "they'll see you as a threat" and she stops but stays tense. I say "this is Azalea" "the wolf we're hunting?" Tony asks confused and fury speaks up "she's one of you now. Welcome her"

Tony asks "didn't she kill people?" Azalea tilts her head "haven't you?" I hear Sam let out a "Oop" and I fight a chuckle. And Natasha says "you're my new best friend" she says "uh...okay" I give Nat a look to let her know not to rush it and she sends me a small smile. Tony says "I-how do you even know? Didn't you break your curse when you were 12?" "I was 16. And it's hard not to hear things" she replies. I tell her "that's Natasha, Steve, tony, Wanda, Bruce, Sam, Clint, vision, there's a few others still away at the moment" she nods I ask Steve "what are you cooking?" "Eggs, bacon and hash browns" he replies with a smile

I bring us to the table and give her a look and she nods telling me she's okay with eating that. Good. "So wolf girl what does your wolf look like?" Tony asks intrigued. She replies "all white fur with red eyes" "really? That's rare isn't it?" He asks and she shrugs "I guess so?" He asks "can I see the eyes?" She closes hers and opens them and they're red. He nods "interesting and you have heightened senses?" I roll my eyes "tony she's not a science project" she gives me a confused look and I explain "Bruce and tony are scientists among other things"

She nods "what Barnes? It's not every day we get a werewolf in our presence. You okay with me seeing your wolf some time?" She shrugs and I tell her "you can say no if you want" tony agrees "you're welcome to say no Azalea. I'm just interested" Bruce speaks up "so am I" she nods "sure...one day" she says "thanks Steve" as he slides her a plate and he smiles "no problem Azalea" looking between us when she's not looking and raises his eyebrows and I roll my eyes at him. Is whatever's going on that obvious?
