I looked at Aizawa sensei like he was crazy. I didn't understand. I thought he would've expelled me for being a danger.
"How do you plan to help me Sensei? If I feed, people will call me a monster. I don't want to deal with any more problems."
"We will talk to principal Nezu about this. In the mean time, how have you been feeding?"
"I haven't. I don't struggle with control like my sister does."
"You need to eat Akari. Come with me."
"Sensei. I'm fine. Really. If I get hungry again, I will tell you."
"If you say so. Where is everyone."
"They slept in my dorm. Fumikage and I were watching an American movie and I got scared. They came and watched with me."
"That's surprisingly sweet. Normally they'd be cautious of newcomers."
"Why?"
"This class has had too many run ins with villains."
"That sucks. Must have been hard. Now that you mention it, Fumikage had a nightmare about what the villains did to you. I was there to comfort him and all but he was terrified and he said he felt powerless."
"Tokoyami had a nightmare?! Is he okay?"
"Sensei. I just told you, he's fine. There's no need to worry."
I felt myself getting lightheaded and passed out. I didn't know what was happening until I saw a vision of my sister. She said, "Don't save me." Than I woke up. I saw that I was being carried by Fumikage as he was worrying for me.
"Fumi-."
"You scared me! Why did you pass out?"
"I had a vision of my sister. She told me not to save her. I don't know why she said that but I will not stop trying."
"Something's wrong with your eyes. They're red."
"Shit. Get Aizawa sensei. Now."
We were running around the dorms looking for sensei. But we couldn't find him. I fell to the ground clutching my head in pain.
"It hurts. I can't control it. Please. You need to run."
"I'm not running. Come with me."
He grabbed my hand and we walked to his dorm room. He closed the door and I wanted to run. So I wouldn't hurt him. He held me in a hug and tried to help me calm down.
"You got hungry right? Allow me to help you. You don't have to be alone."
"Fumi. I could kill you. I can't. What if I hurt you?"
"I will be fine. I want to help you. As my friend."
He held out his arm and I looked at it. I could see the blood pumping through his veins. I held out my hand and softly grabbed his. Pulling his wrist up to my mouth.
"It might hurt for a minute. Try not to yell."
He nodded his head and I bit his wrist. Softly wincing in pain, he closed his eyes. I took two gulps before calming down and healing his wound.
"Thank you Fumi."
"You don't need to be alone. You have me and everyone else. Just don't tell them about the blood thing. They will call you a monster. And I don't want that."
" you are a good friend."
I sat on the bed and turned on the tv. I didn't realize the movie we were watching was still playing so I got scared. I hid into the pillow and waited for it to be over. Clowns and murder are not meant to be together. I heard the tv turn off and I turned around. I saw Fumi and Aizawa sensei.
"You said you would tell me if you got hungry again."
"We looked for you but couldn't find you. I'm sorry sensei."
"What Tokoyami did was something a good friend would be afraid to do. I was getting you some different things to eat when you get hungry. So try to control it. And tell me when you run out."
"I will sensei. Thank you."
Aizawa sensei left and I stayed in the room with Fumi. I liked being around him. He was my friend. But his blood, it was different. My mother said your soulmate has a taste that is unlike anything you ever ate. And that is exactly what he was. I felt my heart speed up at the thought of finding the one person that would be by my side as long as I'm alive. I fell asleep on the bed and didn't want to move. But I had to. My dorm was across the way from Fumikage's room so he picked me up and carried me there. He laid me down and was about to leave but I grabbed his hand.
"Stay. I don't want to have a nightmare."
"Okay. But only because you're my friend. Let me change into proper sleepwear."
"Okay Fumi."
He came back and scooted onto the bed. I laid my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat as it helped me fall back asleep. His hand in my hair as he fell asleep almost instantly. I felt a smile creeping to my face as I groggily said four words.
"I love you Fumi."
I fell back asleep and his arm wrapped around mine. Having a great sleep. Over the small time I've been here, Fumikage and I have built a strong bond. That's why I told him I loved him. I mean. It's true. But I was really sleepy. I didn't know I told him. And if what my mother said is true, him and I were meant for each other. I really want to tell people in class everything about me but I'm scared. I'm scared to be branded as a monster and a villain. I don't want to be called something I'm trying so hard not to become. I had my room unlocked and a grape boy came in. Only to see me snuggling with Fumikage. Aizawa sensei turned on the light after the Grapist opened the door, scaring him.
"I'm sorry Aizawa Sensei. I was just waking her up for breakfast but Tokoyami is in there too."
"That's fine with me. But I'll wake them up. Get out of here."
