Alora Branson"Ah!" Alora cried out squeezing her fists as a painful sonic blast erupted from within her, by now she had tears trickling down her eyes. Alora took a seat on the dock in front of the lake making sure no one was around, she wiped her eyes free of tears looking into the dark blue water. She looked up seeing it would almost be a full moon, "you don't have to come with your pity, i don't care" Alora sighed as Regulus took a seat next to her.
"Look you were right, i'm sorry. I truly mean it, Klaus took a lot from me" Regulus scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "What was it?" Alora turned to him, "more like who" Regulus looked up at the moon. "I made the mistake of crossing him and he did what he does best" Reg turned to Alora, "he got even" he shook his head. Turning back to his lap where he tightened his fists, "he killed the one person who was there with me through everything, the one person he knew meant everything to me. Her name was Jade" Regulus sighed.
"He killed her didn't he" Alora asked, Regulus shook his head. "I killed her, because he turned her against me trying to use her to kill me. It was an accident but after i finally got through to her it was too late" Regulus said solemnly. "I- i'm sorry i didn't-" "you didn't know? I didn't expect you too we've been apart for centuries" Reg sighed. "I promise to make an effort Alora, if you promise to tell the truth" Regulus turned to her making her nervous.
"I am honest" Alora nodded, "then why didn't you tell me Alexia died?" Ref's voice sounded pained. Alora turned to Reg and he could tell she was clearly still affected by her death, he wrapped his arms around her while she began crying. "I was going to tell you but i didn't want to shock you even more, i'm so sorry" Alora sobbed, "hey, hey it's alright" Regulus whispered.
He rubbed her back while she composed herself once again, "i thought i was over it then Kol died and i felt horrible all over again" Alora shook her head wiping away her tears as she pulled away from Regulus. "I'm sorry about judging your relationship, i can tell you were in love. I've been there, losing the person you loved" Reg sighed.
"I'll go with you to New Orleans, but fair warning people like us. We don't belong" Reg took my hand, "we're stronger then them, and they fear us. We'll never fit in with the witches" Reg said. Alora nodded "i'm aware, but we're together now. And that's all that matters" Alora nodded standing up. She helped Reg up before vamp speeding them back to the car where Everett was leaning.
"Shall we go?" Everett opened the car door, "one more thing" Alora turned to Reg "your gonna need a moonlight ring" she pulled a black simple ring band out. "It makes it so you don't have to transform" Alora smiled, Reg smiled slipping it on his ring finger. "Thank you" he hugged Alora something he wouldn't regularly do, Alora smiled before turning to Everett "i think i'm ready to face him again" she nodded.
They all got in the car, Everett behind the wheel, before they drove back into the city of New Orleans. "I actually like the change in scenery" Alora looked out the window, it the sun was coming up painting the dark sky in orange and yellow.
