A/n A laid back chapter. This book is coming to an end soon
3rd Person's POV
They arrived at their destination within a week's long journey as they stood before a temple-like house with a well maintained follow garden in front, and a beautiful shishi odoshi off to the side. Riza gawked at the sight of the beauty the house beheld. It was the first time she had ever been to the stone pillar's home, and everything she saw so far was befitting for a man of his calibre.
"Do you like it?"
"It's magnificent!" She strutted towards the flower garden then leaned down to smell the delicate flowers.
"They're well maintained for someone who is barely home.""Someone waters them for me when I cannot."
They entered the building and Gyomei gave the young woman a tour of her new home, and to be expected, everything was built with the large man's size in mind.
"You can make some changes or add things if you want—Oh, I should've told you beforehand, we'll be sharing a room for the time being until your room is prepared. So I hope you don't mind.."
"Huh? Why would I mind?"
"I don't want to make you uncomfortable, I want to move at your pace."
Riza chuckled before telling him a separate room for her wouldn't be necessary, then was led through the long hallway and to a large door. Gyomei enter the room before her to rest her stuff on the tea table that was at a corner of the room, followed by the petite woman who carefully observed the furnishing and the room itself. It was generally a large magnificent room, but there weren't much in it, making it look rather empty. The only things that were present were a large futon that laid at the centre, a tea table and a single chair, a wardrobe and a long table with a cushion on top of it that Riza assumed that was where the stone pillar placed his weapon. Ultimately, the bedroom was something that screamed mediocre compared to the rest of the well-decorated house.
"Did the designers give up on this room?" She joked.
"I told them that I didn't want much in here. It's a place I come to meditate but I suppose since this will also be your room, we should add in some more furniture." The Hashira scooped her into his arms and pecked her lips whilst hugging her.
"I need to tell the master that I have returned. We'll go shopping when I get back."After Gyomei left, Riza took this opportunity to do something more exploring on her own, and the first thing she noticed upon entering the bathroom, was that there weren't any mirrors which were to be expected. She took a mental note of what the house needed then headed back to the bedroom before she threw herself onto the bed with the fluffy sheets caressing her cheek. The sound of the water filling the bamboo of the shishi odoshi right outside the room along with its occasional clicks calmed the woman, causing her to fall asleep without knowing it. When Himejima returned, he was greeted by soft peaceful breathing, making his lips tug upwards. He made his way to her sleeping form then caressed her cheek before he began poking her a couple of times before the woman grabbed onto his fingers then slowly sat up with her other hand rubbing her eyes.
