Adrien stands with straight shoulders, holding his hands together to keep them from shaking. He's nervous and excited. He'd been waiting for this day practically his entire life.

Nino wraps an arm around his best friend's shoulder. "Dude! Are you excited or what?! You're finally marrying the girl of your dreams."

He smiles. "The girl of my dreams..."

"Speaking of."

The guests stand as Adrien's bride enters the room. She walks down the aisle alone, a thick veil covering her face.

As she reaches the altar, Adrien grabs her hand and pulls her close. "You look beautiful... well, from what I can see."

The bride laughs.

A pastor steps forward and the guests sit back down. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness this love ceremony between Adrien Agreste and the girl of his dreams."

The bride and groom face each other, still holding hands.

"Adrien Agreste, do you take this girl to be your lawfully wedded wife, for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, til death do you part, as long as you shall live?"

"I do," He answers fast. "Without a doubt."

The pastor raises his arms. "By the power vested in me, you may now kiss the bride!"

Adrien raises his hands and pulls the veil up.

It's Marinette.

Adrien jumps up in bed, eyes wide, and starts breathing hard. It was just a dream. Did I just dream about Marinette? Marrying... Marinette?

He lays back down, replaying the dream in his head, and smiles. "It wouldn't be so bad marrying her," He whispers out loud to himself.

Adrien sits back up. "What am I saying? I'm dating Kagami. I'm with Kagami." She's my girlfriend. I shouldn't be thinking about Marinette like that.

He had no idea why he was thinking of Marinette like that.

She's just a friend.

Adrien climbs out of bed, thankful it's Sunday, and goes to take a quick shower. After cleaning up, he brushes his teeth, and sees steam fogging up the mirror. He draws a heart and writes 'A+M' in the middle.

Realizing what he wrote, he wipes it away fast and rinses his mouth out. "What is wrong with me?!"

"We don't have enough time to get into that," His kwami comments from the door.

"I was talking to myself, Plagg."

"And that's one of the things that's wrong with you."

Adrien rolls his eyes. "At least Tikki's nice. She actually asks about my problems and helps me. You just seem to make them worse."

"Hey, I can be nice!" Plagg defends.

He crosses his arms and stares down his kwami.

"I-I can't think of any examples at the moment, but I'm nice!"

Adrien laughs and sits at his desk. For once, his Sunday is free, and he has no idea how to spend his time. Kagami's out of town with her mother for the weekend and won't be coming home until tomorrow morning.

Plagg flies over and sits on Adrien's computer monitor. "Alright, kid. I'm being nice. What's wrong?"

"I... I don't know," He admits.

Plagg groans and falls over dramatically. "Gee, that's helpful."

"Kagami's my girlfriend and I'm happy she is. She's confident and brace and I always have fun fencing with her, but I keep having these thoughts about Marinette."

"Marinette?" The kwami questions. "Huh, that name sounds familiar... who's Marinette again?" He teases, messing with his holder.

Adrien logs on his computer and pulls up a picture of her. "Marinette, one of my best friends? She's in my class."

Plagg stares at the monitor, then slowly at Adrien. "Why do you have a picture of her ready?"

He blushes. "Uh, Alya took it!"

The kwami shrugs. "Don't recognize her."

"Her parents own that bakery?"

"Oh! Baker girl!" Plagg nods. "Yeah, I like her. So, you're having thoughts about her. What kind of thoughts?"

Adrien stared at the picture of Marinette on the screen. "I can't stop thinking about her. I think about her more than my own girlfriend! She's just always on my mind. I hear her name and all I see is..." He trails off, mesmerized by her bright, bluebell eyes. "Her pretty face."

"Do you think Kagami is pretty?" Plagg asks.

Adrien nods. "Of course I do! She's beautiful."

"Then what's the problem?"

"That's the thing, I don't know! I'm happy with Kagami, but there's something about Marinette that..."

"That what?"

Adrien turns away from the monitor, sighing. "That intrigues me. I just want to see her, talk to her. I even had a dream we got...married."

"Well, it's official. You're lovesick."

"That doesn't mean anything."

"You're having dreams about marrying another girl who isn't your girlfriend?" The kwami counters.

Adrien looks at his shoes. "Dreams don't always make sense."

"All my dreams are about cheese! Warm, gooey, sweet, delicious cheese!" Plagg flies over and grabs a wheel from the cabinet, eating it in just two bites.

"Besides, Marinette and Luka are together now," He adds, the thought of them together making his stomach knot.

"Why does that matter if you don't have feelings for her?" Plagg asks, tilting his tiny head. "Huh?"

Adrien goes to say something back, but closes his mouth shut.

The kwami grins. "Checkmate."

He glares at Plagg. "I still prefer Tikki right now."
