─"I CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY GAVE US THE BEST ROOM IN THE INN!" you exclaimed aloud in awe.
"it's just a part of my charm." venti tossed his head back smugly.
"somehow that makes me feel a little bit worried and concerned as to what you did to get us here." you sighed in frustration.
"ok i can't really tell you what i did to get you here but i promise it wasn't anything illegal inappropriate or out of pocket." venti explained to you before giving you a kiss on the cheek.
"ok venti i trust you." you accepted his affection and returned it with a playful kiss on the lips.
the suite you had gotten is what you would have assumed would have been called the presidential suite.
there was a large bed in the middle of the room with a duvet that complimented the rest of the decor. a comfy-looking loveseat was placed next to it facing the large window that was nearly half of the walls. the window was pristinely cleaned as if someone had actually put genuine care into tending to the glass which was now doing its job of showing the beautiful star-filled night sky. there was also a decent-sized closet was right across from the massive bathroom that had a clean shower and a large bathtub that you could have mistaken for a hot tub. to complete your exploration of the room there was a door made out of glass that led to a small porch.
"wow venti this place is awesome." you whistle in amazement after giving yourself a mini-tour.
"don't get too comfortable we're only going to be staying for a night but we will be going to an even better hotel once we go to liyue." venti gave you a bright smile.
"oh venti you treat me so well how can ever repay you darling." you brushed your fingers through his hair gently.
"you can test out this bed with me." venti smirked mischievously.
"YAY BED!" you exclaim as you grabbed venti's hand to jump onto the bed.
"good bed." you and venti mutter together into the comforter of the criminally comfortable bed.
"it should be illegal to be this comfortable." venti mumbles to himself as he shifted in the bed.
"don't fall asleep yet venti i wanna go look at the stars." you reluctantly rise from the bed.
"but bed comfy." venti murmurs sleepily.
"c'mon big boy." you sigh as you drag venti out of the bed out to the patio.
"it's a little bit chilly." you shiver slightly.
venti doesn't skip a beat and drags you over to the chair on the porch and cuddles into you to keep the both of you warm.
"venti do you know any constellations?" you ask the archon curiously.
"hmm no (y/n) i actually don't." venti sighs. "but i do know where celestia is." venti tells you as he points at a bright star in the sky.
"can you tell me about celestia, is it pretty there?" you ask venti with a yawn.
"celestia used to be very beautiful a long time ago." venti began his long archon story.

a/n: kind of a boring chapter but we are definitely headed for liyue next chapter. celestia bad we do not like celestia. first time writing a chapter during a school week it was definitely an experience. anyways i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter i love you guys so so much stay healthy and stay safe!
