Harry Styles

Todays a day I've been waiting way too long for.

I'm at the airport right now waiting for the person I've missed so much.

My sister.

It's been almost a month since I've seen her but now being away from her everyday is always hard. We used to spend everyday together when I lived back home but now we obviously don't. In the two years I've lived here, I have always been the one to go back home to visit her and she's never been here before. So we both decided she'd come a little early before my birthday so she can get to know Nashville a little bit.

She also needs to meet Taytum in person, which is important to me. We talked last night over the phone while she was packing and she kept talking about how excited she is to meet Taytum.

I sit in one of the many chairs with people that are waiting for whoever they are here for and wait for Gemma to text me that she landed. As if right on que I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and take it out.

Okay, I'm here waiting.

I stand up from the chair walking over to the escalators that she'll be coming down from. After almost twenty minutes of impatiently waiting I see her coming down the escalator. I turn my phone off and put it back in my pocket, she slowly comes down the escalator. Oh my god if this slow ass thing doesn't hurry up. Stupid escalator takes fucking forever.

Right as Gemma gets to the bottom she rolls her luggage behind her and runs up to me. She jumps onto me, wrapping her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. My arms come around her back going behind her backpack.

"Hi H" She says as we tightly hug each other for what feels like forever but it was probably two minutes, then I put her down.

"Hi Gem." I say as I put her back down onto the ground, she turns around to grab her luggage then passes it to me. She knows I'll end up taking it from her anyways and even if she asked me I'd do it. Whatever.

"How was the flight?" I say as we head outside of the airport to the parking garage.

"It was okay. As good as it could be." She says, starting to walk a little ahead of me so I catch up to her and throw my arm around her shoulders. Gemma has always hated flying, over the last couple of years she's tried to get used to flying alone because she loves to travel places. She'll have her moments that she still gets really nervous when the planes about to take off but other than that flying has been easier for her.

We walk up to the car and Gemma gets into the passenger seat as I put her luggage in the trunk. Once we're both situated in the car I pull out, taking out my phone to figure out where we're going.

"So before you start asking me a bunch of stuff cause I know you were already thinking of doing that..." I say trailing off at the end and look over at her quickly to see her smirking at me, I knew it. "Are you hungry?" I ask her, stopping at a red light and turning my head to look at her again.

"Oh yeah I actually am. I forgot to ask you if we could get something, I might have forgotten I didn't eat before my flight." She says making me immediately think of any place I could take her to so that she could eat fast. That means she hasn't eaten since last night.

"Gem, why didn't you tell me? That means you haven't eaten since dinner last night." I say looking for the closest restaurant around here. I end up choosing the easiest thing going with McDonalds.
