Y/N was travelling up the steep mountain that led to Mount Lanakila alongside his newly-caught Larvitar, the true testament to his skills as a trainer of Pokemon. Y/N was fairly warm enough, but what concerned him the most about his journey to the Alola Pokémon League is his Larvitar's poor friendship level and the fact that it needs to eat soil so it doesn't go hungry and stay healthy. Y/N really wants to raise his newly caught Larvitar well so it evolves into a big and strong Tyranitar because it is a pseudo-legandary, but given how things are going so far with it, he's slightly tempted to just find another one as if something bad is going to happen if he doesn't. Then again, that could possibly just be the odd feeling of being so high in the sky...

Halfway towards the location of the Pokémon League, Y/N would hear Larvitar's stomach growling. He knew that it wasn't just hungry for any old bean or berry; it hungered for what Y/N was fresh out of. Y/N knew that he didn't have any soil on him, and it's only going to be a matter of time before Larvitar does something rash. Having this info in mind, Y/N would slightly walk a bit faster, thinking that he could get some subsitute for soil before his Larvitar does something really bad. However, Y/N would miss a step during his panicked race-walk and before he could sturdy himself on the ground, he'd lose his balance and would proceed to fall back. Whilst Y/N had his little free-fall session, Larvitar was yawning.

Falling helplessly through the air, Y/N would have eventually landed in the yawning Larvitar's mouth. "Ohhh, no, no, no, nonononono. Larvitar, spit me out before I-" Y/N would begin to say, being interrupted by the Larvitar reacting with swallowing him whole (while doing so, Y/N's belt containing his powerful 'mons that could do more than just help him get out of this little mess slid off, drifting down the mountain). "Shit, this calls for drastic measures! C'mon, Incineroar- Eh?!" Y/N would begin to say to himself outloud, realizing that he didn't have his best Pokémon on him. Having slight hope, Y/N would go through his entire team build, still full of hope.

..Decidueye, Primarina, Toucannon, Raichu, and Crobat. None present (as already established).

Y/N's only option was to then struggle.

Out of all the meals this now-wild Larvitar had tasted, none of them had kicked and struggled or made any kind of movement, catching said Larvitar offguard

Being so far from it's home, Diglett's Tunnel, Larvitar didn't really know what to do. The only option it could think of was travelling to the Pokémon League stadium, hoping it could find some sort of home (and soil and/or more people to feast upon). Thanks to the ever Pokémon-caring souls of the members of the Elite Four, Larvitar had found a new home. However, some people got suspicious when they saw Larvitar being taken to its new home due to the prey that had yet to digest.

..He did digest, eventually.
