Subject 6 and the Untold Story (Project 863 Fanfic/Alternate Timeline)

Prologue

       (A/N: Hello fellow members of Subject 4, I'm writing this story inspired by a dream that I had. I am writing this when the most recent episode is "He May Have Taken Things Too Far." So, I'm breaking off from the cannon storyline after that episode and making an alternate timeline scenario. I won't be adding in extra details or clues that are found after that episode until possibly much later into the story, but it probably won't be like how the future episodes will be. I'm calling it an alternate timeline because I've learned to never make fan work for 863 because everything gets flipped on its head. (I seen someone make B27xDouble X fan art before the reveal... yikes) So, you might be thinking Subject 6? There's only four. That's true, that will be explained in the chapter after the prologue. There is an OC involved, because again, this was inspired by a dream I had, so I fabricated an OC around attributes of myself or what attributes I had in the dream. Alas, this should go without saying, this story is for those caught up to the episode "He May Have Taken Things Too Far." IF you are not caught up, I advise you stop reading and get to watching. You don't want to be spoiled.)

It had been weeks since the team had seen Matthias after his big reveal as Double X. The team is in shambles and ruins. Sam and Woods made a new discord without Matt or Bailey able to have access to stay connected to Subject 4 with as little to no interference from Syphus as possible. They found the SPIRE, but there were additional codes and security measures that the team didn't account for and needed to look for more clues.

With the team in pieces, they turned to additional help from Subject 4. They set up a challenge in discord and the winner of the challenge would be flown out to assist the team momentarily. Here enters Elyzabeth Adams, a communications major from the University of California, LA. The girl is brilliant with a sharp wit and paired with a sarcastic, and mildly aggressive attitude. While Elyzabeth didn't need to be flown out to Santa Clarita, her help was still greatly appreciated by the team. For the weeks that Matthias had been missing in action, the team had practically come to a dead end.

That's what they thought until a letter had arrived at the studio. Familiarly enough, addressed from the studio. The team opened the letter that read:

Dear Subjects of Project 863,

I hope this letter finds you well. I have grown more concerned ever since the serum bomb had gone off and I feared the worst. I am aware that Subject 1 has fallen to Nelson Syphus' trap and is now one of his hosts. Some of my agents were able to locate Subject 1 and detain him. He is unharmed. I have gained the technology to monitor when Syphus is controlling him while in his detainment chamber, and he hasn't been active for quite some time.

This being said, I would like to invite you to my headquarters to formerly meet you all in person. This invitation is extended to Bailey and Elyzabeth as well. You would be able to be reunited with Subject 1 and I can also keep an eye on the signs that Subjects 5 and 6 are being reverted into Nelson's puppets.

Encrypted at the bottom of the letter was the address for the headquarters. The team decided that they would once again have to put their faith in Deborah and trust that she would help them through this. So, the set out on their mission to be reunited with Matthias.
