I'm on my way to my husband's condo because he didn't come home. It's already 8:00 PM, our wedding anniversary today. So, I brought a small box with a wrapped PT inside, indicating that I'm pregnant.
Yesterday, I went to the OB-GYN and found out I'm 3 weeks pregnant. Now, standing in front of my husband's condo, I feel nervous and can't explain why. I cautiously open the door, surprised to find it unlocked. Slowly, I walk inside, sensing there might be visitors.
As I enter the living room, my heart shatters at the sight before me. My husband is kissing my adopted sister. To my surprise, my family, his family, friends, they're all here. The pain overwhelms me. I see my mother approaching, tears in her eyes. Unable to bear it, I step back, tears streaming down my face. It hurts. Seeing my husband and sister kissing in front of everyone.
"Why?" I ask, my voice shaking. No one answers. The shock in my husband's eyes is evident. I can't explain what I'm feeling right now. Overwhelmed, I run out of the condo, chased by my father, sister, and friends. I manage to get into the closing elevator, collapsing on the floor.
Why? Why do these things happen to me? Why did they betray and cheat on me? My family, my sister, why did they do this to me? What did I do wrong? Why did my husband cheat on me?
While driving, I touch my still small belly, tears streaming down. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," I whisper repeatedly. I hold the PT, gently caressing my stomach. "Your daddy wanted you, but he's not here now. I'm sorry, baby. You'll grow up without a father, but I'll love and take care of you," I say, smiling sadly. I'm Ingrid Alaena Argyros, betrayed by my cheating husband, Veil Zuiveren Rouge.
