I hurriedly drove to Veil's house. His house, not ours anymore after what he did to me.

I trusted him so much.

I loved him so much.

But this is what I got.

I can't help but shed tears, recalling what happened earlier. I've been deceived by Veil for a long time. My family, my friends, they all played a part.

I saw a poster hanging in the kitchen earlier that said,

"Happy 1st Year Anniversary."

I've been deceived by the man I love for a year, and I never thought that after two years together, he would betray me. The excessive trust I gave him made me believe he would never cheat on me.

For two years, he didn't change. Sweet, caring, he treated me well. While he appeared cold to others, he always smiled at me. But not anymore because I saw him earlier, laughing with my sister, Sandra Argyros.

She's my adopted sister, taken in by my parents after saving my life ten years ago. When I was about to be hit by a truck, she pushed me out of harm's way.

She's caring and kind, the ideal sister I wished for, especially since I'm the only girl in our family. I trusted her so much. When I introduced Veil to them, she even threatened him, saying she'd kill him if he ever cheated.

But I was wrong. She never kept her promise because she's the one who became my husband's mistress.

I trusted my family too much—my dad, my mom. But I regret trusting them. I feel so betrayed right now.

I wish I had someone to lean on as I cry. I want a friend to help me forget the pain, but there's no one. No one because they are also among those who betrayed me.

Maybe only Nanay Nelia and the other household helpers can be trusted now. But what if they know too? What if they're also part of those who betrayed me?

Even my brothers, I have six of them. But I saw them earlier, with those who betrayed me.

I was truly betrayed.

I want to end it all now, but I'm holding back, especially since there's a child in my womb.

I quickly parked the car in front of the mansion. I didn't turn off the engine to make it easy for me to escape in case my cheating husband follows me.

I hurriedly entered the mansion, my face a mess from crying.

Nanay Nelia welcomed me, "Oh, dear, what happened? Why do you look like that?" She asked in concern, but I didn't answer. Instead, I hugged her tightly and broke down in tears on her shoulder.

"N-Nay, V-Veil. H-He cheated on me. Nay, he cheated," I sobbed. I heard her deep sigh.

"So, you know now?" she asked gently. I broke free from her embrace and wondered if Nanay knew. No way.

"No way," I muttered.

She reached for my hand, but I left her and headed upstairs to our room.

Only now did I notice that all the maids in the house were crying, and even Mang Berto, our driver. Do they all know? Did they all betray me?

Do I really deserve to be betrayed?

Am I that bad?

I grabbed my large bag, quickly entering our room with the intention of taking my clothes, credit card, and the money I saved.

I glanced around the room, realizing this was the last time. This was the room where we had beautiful memories together, memories that should now be discarded.

I quickly went downstairs and left the mansion. They tried to stop me, but I ignored them.

I want to go far away, where they can't see me and follow me. I don't want to see them ever again.
