Chapter 3 (she's mine)

"Mommy,mommy where are you? I can't walk down the stairs,you know you said that unless I am already a big girl I must not walk down the stair alone so I won't break my neck or have a big boo boo." After waiting for mommy for a long time to carry me down the stairs but mommy was not showing up,I decided to be a big girl.
"Mommy, I am coming down the stairs. I have decided I am a big girl now so I can walk down the stairs by myself."
On reaching the last step of the stairs I saw mommy on the floor with lots of bloods around her. Deciding mommy got a boo boo, I decided to blow it for her just like she does for me. "Mommy wake up.I have blown away your boo boo." But I received no response. I lifted her hand away from her chest and saw a hole that was created in her chest.

I screamed ,crying and shouting for mommy to wake up and promising i will be a good girl to her from now on.

I woke up with tears streaming down my face.
"Mommy why did you leave me alone in this world. You should have taken me along and I won't be going through this pain. You promised me we were going to go everywhere together but you left me alone here. I am so sad here and lonely. I don't think I want to live anymore. The pain is too much to bear." I cried silently, hitting my chest.

I couldn't sleep anymore and went into the bathroom to take my bath. After I finished bathing,I wore a dress and sandals and made my way to the bus station without eating. It was not as if there was food in the house to eat. My stomach began growling and I made my way to the nearest cafe and ordered pancakes and chocolate syrup. I reached my workplace at 7;30. I was thirty minutes early. I went and changed to my work clothes.

The day passed by quickly and it was already 6:00. I was called by my boss. I immediately went to meet him.
"Good evening sir." I greeted. "You called for me."
"Yes Elaine. I am sorry about this but I have to give you sack letter."
"What?" I was shocked.
"What did I do sir? Did any customer complain? Did I offend you sir? Please don't sack me. I don't have anywhere else to go." I said kneeling down and begging him. Tears dripping down my face.
"Am so sorry but you have to leave."
"Okay. What about my salary of last month?"
"You won't be able to get that. Now get out of my office before I call the security to drag you out." I stood up quietly and left the club sadly.
I couldn't control the tears. I didn't even know if I was in a cab or was trekking home. I wondered how I was going to survive.
"Where would I start from? How will I pay my landlord this month salary which he would ask for tomorrow?" With that my tears increased. I got home and entered inside my room nearly missing the figure that was sitting on the couch. I looked up and saw Landon worried face. It seems as if my tears couldn't stop and I worked up to him and hugged him. After crying for about an hour,I stopped sniffing slowly.

I raised my head slowly from the crook of his neck and smiled softly at him. He sat me on his lap, cleaning my face with his hands.
"Why are you crying baby girl? Did someone hurt you?" I shook my head softly.
" I was sacked from my workplace today and I didn't even know what I did. I was not given my salary of last month and I don't know where I would see work. I don't know what I will tell my landlord if he come tomorrow to ask for his money. I don't have any food at home and I already planned to use the money. My electricity bills are also piling up. I don't know what I did to deserve this." I said beginning to cry again.

"It's okay baby. We would figure something out. Don't cry anymore. Why don't you stay with me?" He said. I shook my head. " I don't want to." I said.
"Well,you don't have a choice here." He said his voice hardening.
I signed softly. "Let me go and pack. I will be quick." After I finished packing,I looked at my room and smiled sadly. I will miss it so much.

Entering his car,and off we went to his house or should I say my new home. Looking up, I stared at the castle before me,mouth agape. It was beautiful like it's owner and intimidating. I looked up to Landon and saw him staring at me with a soft smile on his face.
"Are you sure we are in the right place." I asked.
"Yes, follow me." He said
Entering the house,it was even more beautiful than the outside. It screamed rich at me.I saw men with guns. I looked at Landon wide eyed and cling to him like a leech. We walked through the stairs and stopped at a door. Landon opened it and entered,following him inside the room, it was big,darkened wide.
A very large bed stood in the middle of the room,two long couch,a big television,a small library,an office table and chair with documents neatly arranged on it. The room was painted black and screamed arrogance and rich to me.
"Your room looks just like you." I said giggling softly at him. He smiled and sat on the bed.
"Is the room to your liking?" He asked
"Yea. Is it yours?"
"No, it's ours." He said.
"What? Do you mean I will be staying in this room with you?" I asked.
"Yes." He answered.
"You can drop your bag in the closet and arrange it tomorrow. It is already late."
"Okay." I walked into the walk in closet and it was the size of my whole apartment. I picked out the clothes I will wear for the night and walked in to a glorious sight.

He was only in shorts. His shirt was already off. He looked yummy. I was sure I was already melting where I stood. I shrieked slightly when I realized he was almost naked and ran into the bathroom.
"Omg!!!!!. I could look at him all day without getting tired." I thought,blushing furiously.

The bathroom was also beautiful. I realized he must be very rich. After I finished showering, I went into the bedroom and sat on the bed. His eyes darkened when he saw I was in my small nightwear. He stalked towards me and gripped my hair softly,tilting my head to the side. He placed his head at the crook of my neck inhaling my scent.
"So sweet, mine." He said possessively
I blushed.
Staying like that for almost five minutes, he then removed his head. "Go to sleep baby. I will join you soon."
Nodding my head, I laid on the bed and slept off immediately.
