After Damien and George left, everywhere became silent. I looked around the office and it was big,beautiful,spacious and had a dark alluring manner to it just like it's owner. I walked over to the window and I gasped at the sight of the beautiful city below. I was sure the city was going to be very beautiful and worth sightseeing at night.

A knock sounded on the door,bringing me out of my daydream.
"Come in." Landon answered.
A young man entered shakily,looking scared. I looked at Landon and saw his face stone cold.I frowned at the sight.

"Sir......I brought the ice you re..requested for." The man said. He dropped the bag of ice he brought on the desk and waited till Landon dismissed him and fled out immediately.

I walked up to Landon and pinched his cheeks making him look at me in shock as if someone had never tried to do it. I doubt someone would,not when he was always scowling.

"Stop scowling or your face would get old quickly." I said to him.
He looked at me smiling softly making me blush a deep shade of red.He pulled me to his laps and took out the Ice and placed it on my cheeks holding it in place.
"Ow ow,that is so cold."I cried out softly.

"I am so sorry this happened baby girl. I will make sure he will get his punishment." Landon said.
I frowned at the mention of punishment.
"It is okay Landon, you were not the one that did this to me,besides I want to ask why you have bodyguards in your home."

Landon tensed at my question. "It is okay if you don't want to tell me now,just wanted to know." I told him smiling softly at him.
"God you will make a perfect queen." He murmured but I don't think I was meant to hear that.
"What did you say?" I asked him.
"Nothing to worry your head about." He said.

A knock sounded on the door and a very pretty lady walked in. She looked shocked to see me sitting on Landon's laps,but she recovered quickly and puts on a fake sweet smile.

"Sir,the conference room is ready." She said.
"Baby girl, you will have to stay here and wait for me. I will be done before you know it." Landon said to me.

I nodded my head at him and and came down from his lap. He stood up and nodded his head at me. He left his office with his secretary following behind not before giving me a glare.

I frowned my face at her and looked away. Everywhere became silent once more. I went to the couch and sat down on it and not long I couldn't resist the lure of sleep.
