the coffee shop pt. 2

She walked over to you and sat down "Hey Y/n, what's up?" You smiled "Not much, still pissed off that I got homework on my first day 🙄🤚," you replied sassily. "What about you?" MJ chuckled at your comment about the homework. "Not a lot to be honest and you'll get used to the mountain of homework we get eventually,"

The waitress with light pink hair came over again and asked you both if you wanted something to eat or drink, MJ ordered a dark roast coffee and you ordered a (coffee/tea/hot chocolate or whatever you want). The pretty waitress smiled and said that your drinks would be ready in a minute.

You and MJ talked about random stuff (i.e. Books that made you both sob) until the pretty pink-haired waitress came back to them.

She put MJ's coffee down on the table but as she put yours down you spotted that there was a piece of paper underneath it. She smiled at you and then went back behind the counter to continue making cups of coffee.

MJ had seen what happened and gave you a sly smile. "Did she give you her number?" She questioned. You and your impatient ass couldn't handle the suspense and quickly unfolded the piece of paper that the lady had put under your paper cup of (insert your fave hot drink here). The paper read: Hi! I'm Niki (: and it had a phone number on it.

You blushed as you spotted that she had put her number on it. MJ leaned over to see what it said and when she saw that there was a phone number on it she looked at you and smiled slyly. "You should call her later," MJ said. You quickly changed the subject and carried on the conversation, even though you were, in fact, planning on calling her.

"this coffee shop is kinda boring, there's not much to do here. Wanna go somewhere else?" You suggested. MJ looked at you and asked if you wanted to just walk around and see if there's anything to do. "Sure that works" you replied, as you gave one last smile to the waitress named niki before walking out of the coffee shop.

As of now, you and MJ knew each other decently well and you were both walking around random places while silently judging everyone, but after a while it was getting kinda boring so MJ decided that she should head back home to her mom because they both had dinner plans in a bit and she needed to get ready. you offered to walk her home and she happily accepted.

"Bye MJ!" you called out to her as she opened her front door and walked inside. "Bye Y/n, see you tomorrow." she said with a small smile as she closed the door.

you were about three quarters of the way back to your house when a man suddenly grabbed you and held a gun up to your temple. "Give me all your money or i swear i'm gonna blow your fucking brains out." the man said aggressively. you were frozen in shock, this had never happened before. "well? take out your fucking money!"

you quickly realised that you had zero chance of escaping while being held at gunpoint. you would be shot before you even got out of the headlock he was holding you in. you reached down to the small backpack that you had been carrying to take out the remainder of your money.

that's when the gun that the man was holding up to your head suddenly jerked out of his hand and up towards the top of the building adjacent to where you were being held in a headlock. there was a long, thin string of what seemed to be a spiders web attached to it...
