The moon and stars aligned
And show off their sparkling lights
Of glitter that shimmers through sight
I'd pray again for you to be mine
Your glances brought me to the moon,
And it felt like it was just me
Among the stars and the totality
I hope I would know now or soon
Was that love,
When you shouted my name
When I was about to get hit by a car
And when you accidentally held my hand?
Was that love,
When you gave up one game
When I was about to open up the scars
And when you smiled as my jokes went bland?
I wish you knew how much I long for you,
And how sorry I was,
For how I liked when I slapped your face;
Because it's the only chance I got,
to touch your cheeks as fluffy as the pillow I squish every night
