Aru Shah and The Curse of Kamadeva (DISCONTINUED)

KISS ME GOODBYEEEEEE I'M DEFYING- (Sorry)

As The Potatoes were about to step into the hall, a huge vine suddenly pulled them back. It was from Nikita. 

"Guys! You can't go in yet! Sheela has a prophecy!"

She sounded worried, which Aru could understand. So, everyone watched Sheela as her eyes glowed a bright silver, and she started to speak in her "prophecy voice".

The leader of the group shall fall

Cursed by the love god, one and all

Only one can save their life

All five pandavas' only wife

Three treasures you must collect

Or else the curse will have a negative effect

If you don't succeed, it doesn't matter if you try

Because the one that's cursed will die

(A/N- I TRIED, OK??? I suck at writing prophecies ;-;)

Sheela's eyes turned back to normal, and she rubbed her eyes. Nikita turned towards the rest of the potatoes. 

"Welp, there's the prophecy. You guys can go now. I'll watch Sheela."

Aru noticed that Brynne hadn't been listening to Sheela. Instead, she was chatting away with Fiona. They were talking about hobbies, and homes, and pets, and friends, and siblings... It was almost dizzying. 

The Potatoes (minus the twins) headed towards the hall again, but Brynne blocked their path. 

"What is it now?"

Aru asked, annoyed. BRYNNE was the one who dragged them here, and now she was blocking their way? What was up with this girl?

"So, I had an idea..."

Mini raised her eyebrow.

"What is it?"

Brynne grinned. (A/N- Hey look, that rhymes! How fun!)

"I was thinking... Fiona should join the potatoes! Why not, right? Can't have too many members!"

Aru and Mini both frowned, and Fiona hid behind Brynne. 

Brynne frowned right back at her sisters.

"Why? We accepted Kara, didn't we?"

Aiden glanced away from his camera, and at Brynne.

"Yeah, maybe that's not the best example, with Kara betraying us and all that?"

Fiona looked nervous. She peeked out from behind Brynne and spoke.

"This... might not be the best time to ask, but..."

She glanced at the potatoes, her gaze lingering on Aru.

"Who's Kara?"

Mini muttered something under her breath, and Aru was pretty sure it wasn't the friendliest thing in the world. Rudy gave Mini a hug, and she immediately relaxed. (And also hugged him back.) 

Aiden didn't say anything, mainly because, well, he usually stays quiet. Aru wanted to explain to Fiona, but figured that it wasn't a good time. This is what she said instead of a super long explanation:

"I'll tell you later. So, anyway... Welcome to The Potatoes! Can we go see Kamadeva now?"

Brynne seemed to be happy that someone was acting nice to her (no wait- their) new friend. Fiona looked around, then darted out from behind Brynne. Finally, she smiled.
