"Charger, snacks, deodorant, and finally, some pads... Now then, all ready for California!" Said a 16-year-old girl, standing at 4'10 tall, with medium length brown hair, and glasses, wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. She looked around the room for any other objects she wished to bring on her family vacation to her grandparent's home.

Before spotting her polaroid camera and unused photo album. Grabbing the two items, she stuffed them into her black duffel bag. Before looking at the mirror at her reflection.

Yelina has tanned skin, dark brown eyes, and a mole on the right side of her chin, but nothing much to her complexion, but that didn't bother her anyway. Looking at her reflection to the photo on the mirror of her family in Mexico, before grabbing the photo and remembering the memory of the time in her ancestral land.

Yelina P.O.V

I chuckled at me and my siblings in this photo, I was the oldest child but my brother Michael was the tallest, he was 5'7 in the eighth grade while I was 4'10 in my junior year of high school. But he was still the tallest, taller than our dad, while Matteo was already half my height despite being 3 years old. Funny height combinations. I put the photo back, looking around the room where I would have a year left before going to college, being both a firstborn American in my family and the first to go to college is both exciting and scary, but I know my family will be behind me, though I was home alone, that was my decision to be left alone while my family goes on a few late-night errands.

I looked around for any other necessary objects when my glasses fell, "Dang it..." Mamí needs to set up an appointment for new glasses, or some contacts. I grab my glasses and then put them back on my face. Then grab my duffel back and put the strap on my shoulder. Soon I went to the living room to put my duffel bag with all of our stuff, when.....

I ran into my room, looking for my phone, as soon as I found it, the screen glitched, over and over again the screen on my phone showed random pictures and kanji.

I tried to restart my phone for it to work, then a flash of light came through my window.

Flames that Incinerate Even the Stars.

Soon I heard a crash and all the stuff on my dresser was thrown off.

Ice that Imprisons even Time.

I looked at the mirror on top of my dresser and see nothing but black.

The Great Tree that Engulfs even the Skies.

"Ahhh!!" I screamed and drop my phone, and looked at my hands, it wasn't burnt but it was hot, soon a bright light came from my phone.

I crouched down and looked at the phone screen, "What?" The only thing I saw on the screen was two words.

Twisted Wonderland

Thunder took me out of my thought and I looked up. I see two black horses dragging a black carriage, that was the last thing I saw before I heard.

I blacked out, into a world of darkness.

'Who is running out of time?'

'Why is this happening?'

'Who's hand do I need to hold?'

3rd P.O.V

The rooms that was once a mess were cleaned in an instant, as a shadow-like figure transforms into the person that is gone. Looking around before hearing a phone ring. The figure looked down then grabbed the phone duplicate and looked at the contact.

Mom

It answers the phone and says in the exact voice of the missing person.

"Yes Má?"

"Hola Mija, I was calling to make sure you are alright, there's a storm outside and I wanted to make sure alright."

"I'm fine Má, it's just a storm, nothing bad is going to happen."

"Well if you're alright then that's good, we're almost home so we'll see you soon."

"Alright then, see you soon, bye Má."

"Bye mí Vida, te amo."

"Te amo tambien Má."

The figure hung up then looked around, grabbed a random backpack in the closet, and soon packed up the things for the family vacation.
