"You were always mine, I just had to find you"

"Ain't you always come here?" the blonde boy asked his friend who was staring at the wooden mansion standing in front of them.

"Yeah, it feels like I knew this place before," he mumbled, placing his hands on the back of his head.

"You know— Hey! What the heck do you think you're doing?!" he shouted to his friend when his friend entered the mansion.

"Inosuke!" he shouted but it seemed he was ignoring him. Zenitsu peeks in the entrance of
the mansion, he fished out his phone to see what time is it, they had plenty of time then he also texted his friend Tanjiro.

Zenitsu:
Hey,  I think we'll be gonna be late for minutes

Future brother-in-law:
Ohh sure, it's pretty early but be quick you know Tomioka-san will close the gate.

"Ugh, I forgot about that," Zenitsu put his phone back in his pocket then he took a glance at the mansion and the street to school. He was still debating if he was going to school without his friend or —he sighed accepting his defeat, he couldn't leave him alone although he knew that he was fine by himself.

"Wait up!" he shouted before running so he could catch up with him.

Inosuke stepped his foot in the path of the entrance of the mansion, the flowers on the side of the pathway were not withered so someone was taking care of them but the mansion was quiet he wasn't certain if someone was in the mansion or not.

"Hey! Wait up! God gracious," Zenitsu exclaimed to his friend, entering the mansion.

"Huhuhuhu."

He stopped in his tracks, anxiously looking to his left and right to search for the source of the sound.

"Who's that?!" he shouted but no one answered him. He looks to his friend who's now gone from his sight. "Shit," he murmured to himself.

Inosuke found himself in the backyard. He realized that this mansion was occupied by someone, the plants were trimmed well and not withered, and the mansion itself was neat. He brushed it off whether there were people inside or not 'cause curiosity got the best of him.

"Huhuhuhu."

"Who's there?"

"Huhuhuhu."

Thinking someone is lost or needs help, Inosuke follows it without hesitation. He placed his hands in his pocket, making his way to the backyard. The backyard was wider than he expected, there was a laundry rack made of bamboo and a small pond. Then he saw the cherry blossom tree, petals were scattered all over the dirt.

"Where is tha—ugh!" the girl suddenly appears in the back of the tree, kicking all the petals. He turns around to wander off the mansion ignoring the frustrated girl. He was about to leave when he stepped on something. Inosuke moved his feet and crouched down to pick up the blue butterfly clip that he stomped. Luckily, it didn't break he looked to the girl who was crouching, parting the scattered petals. He can't see her face earlier since she's ducking her head. Inosuke stood up and marched his way to the girl. He concludes that the clip is the thing that she's finding.

"Hey woman, is this what you're looking for?" the girl in pigtails looks up. Her eyes glistened with happiness and relief, she picked up her hair clip in his hand and then wore it.

"Thank you so much." Apparently, the sun was bright so she couldn't see his face. Aoi rose to take a look at the gi-—

"Wait, you're a guy?" she asked, almost whispering her last word. Inosuke nodded in response. It's not the first time that someone had mistaken him for a girl so he wasn't bothered by it.

"Huhuhuhu."

"Where's the sound coming from? Is there a baby in here?" Inosuke said looking around the area. The girl chuckled softly.

"No, there weren't," she smiled. "Look up at the wooden wall." he looks up to see a bird making that noise sitting at the top of the wooden wall.

"I see," he nodded, eyeing the bird while it made crying noises.

"What brings you here?" The pigtail girl asked, dusting off her uniform.

"I'm curious so I get in and this place—," he looked around then he stopped his eyes on the girl standing before him. "Seems familiar, it's like I've been here before."

"Ohh, but you know you're a trespasser." the girl chuckled, "Luckily for you, this place is open in public and they somewhat preserve this place. This place is called Butterfly Mansion, pretty name isn't it?" she said happily, he nodded his head to her.

"What? Is there something on m-," The girl touches her face to know if there's dirt.

"Have we met before?" he asked, studying her face that seemed familiar to him. The girl stopped and stared at him. Familiarity gaze shared between the two. His heart thumps loudly and he thinks she can hear it. The girl opened her mouth to speak but ended up closing it when someone interrupted them.

"Inosuke!"

Inosuke looks at his back finding his friend running towards them.

"You won't believe what hap—," Inosuke turned his head to his back but the girl he talked to was nowhere to be found.

"Is there someone you're with?" Zenitsu asked peeking in his back.

"No one," mumbling in his breath.

School days have been busy since they were going to graduate from their high school year. Though he wanted to cut in his classes, his friends didn't let him. They will drag him back to the classroom, he can't escape them. But this time he escaped from his friends, Zenitsu had some errands in student council while Tanjiro was called by his club leader, and after lunch, he ran off wearing his backpack.

He entered the Butterfly Mansion, wandering around until he stopped in the backyard where he found the girl. He walked his way letting the sun touch his skin, he wondered why this place and the girl seemed familiar. Did he meet her before? Has he been here before? Why did his heart thump when he looked at her? Is he nervous and why?

Waves of questions flooded his mind but it was all gone when he saw the girl he was thinking about. She was sitting on the porch, looking at the trees. She turns her head his way like she knows he's there.

"We meet again Inosuke," She smiled sweetly as her oceanic blue eyes started to brim with tears. The more he stared, the more she looked familiar until he recalled it. He smiled faintly at her.

"Aoi," he replied, "Glad to see you again."
