I woke up to this beautiful day with a frown on my face. I was used to waking up like this, but it doesn't mean that I'm not disappointed when it happens. I had the dream again last night. This time I dreamt that I went with her though and escaped this awful place. I got up and took a short shower and brushed my teeth. I walked over to my closet decided on wearing a plain white crop top, a black mini skirt that stopped mid thigh, and some black flats. I put my hair in a messy bun and applied some light makeup (foundation & mascara). I grabbed my backpack and my phone and headed down the stairs. When I walked into the kitchen and was greeted by my perky aunt and laid back uncle. I never understood how they were so right for eachother, but somehow they are. "Morning sweetheart! How did you sleep last night?" My aunt asked. "I slept ok. I better get going though unless I want to be late." I grabbed an apple and walked out the door and to my car. I hopped in and turned on the engine.
While I was driving to school I thought about this new life I had come to live. I mean think about it. I started out in a.... bad home....and now I'm living with my Aunt and Uncle in a completely different state and I'm going to a completely different school. I shuddered at the thought of this being my first day. I always freak out when I have to meet new people.
I pulled into the school's parking lot and got out. As I walked through the crowds of people, I realized how just how difficult this day was going to be. I found my way to the office and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. "Hello sweety! How can I help you?" She asked. "Um... I'm new here and I was wondering if I could get m-my schedule p-please." I stuttered. "Of course dear. You must be Abigail. I'm Mrs. Till. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask!" she said while handing me my schedule and locker number. "Ok. T-Thank you." I said. I walked out and walked to my locker, #238. When I got there I was shocked to see a smiling girl standing next to it. "Hi! You must be Abigail. I'm Rachel. I'll be your
guide on your first few days here, as well as your new best friend!" She said while constantly smiling. "Oh, ok." I said. She continued to talk while I put my stuff in my locker and then headed to my 1st period class : English. On our way there I looked at my feet the entire time. I suddenly ran into someone and I fell over. I landed on my shoulder and I winced at the pain. I layed there for a moment and then I looked up at the person I ran into. Im sure it was really creepy the way I just kept staring at him, but I couldn't help myself. He was the hottest guy I had ever seen. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. His hair was perfectly done and he had a strong jawline. " I just love it how all the girls are constantly laying at my feet." He said with a smirk. I tried to get up, but quickly fell over again. "Need some help there?" He questioned. "N-no thanks." I replied. Rachel bent down and helped me up. I ignored the shooting pain soaring up my ankle and shoulder as I walked away. Not even one second later, I heard footsteps behind us. I turned and saw the Greek god that had knocked me over. "Who are you?" He asked. "I-I'm Abigail." I said. he stared at me for a second, smirked, and walked away. "What was that?" I asked Rachel. "That was Ashton Vix, the school's notorious badboy, and it looks like your his next target."
