Chapter 12

I jumped when the door slammed open and in walked.... Ryan, Dylan, and Drew. " What the f*ck happened?!" Ryan yelled as he rushed over to my side. I shook my head as the tears started to fall at the thought of what happened. " Shhh... Its okay baby. Don't cry. Reece, can you tell the guys what happened please?" Ashton asked him after calming me down. I watched my cousin's reactions as Reece explained what happened. Their looks of shock, horror, pain, confusion, anger, and concern made me cry harder.

Ashton held me in his arms and whispered soothing words to me as I cried my eyes out on his shoulder. "Abby, I'm so sorry." Ryan said from beside me. I nodded my head, but continued to cry. I soon began to get very tired. "Get some rest babe. We'll be here when you wake up." Ashton said while wiping my tears away. I nodded my head and closed my eyes. Not long after, I fell into a deep sleep.

Ashton's POV 

I cradled her fragile body as she slept. She is so incredibly beautiful. I can't wait for our date. I am so glad that she said yes. I don't know why, but I can't get her off my mind. It makes me angry to think of her dad and that monster she dated. That reminds me. Who was that guy?

" Hey Ryan, who was the guy she dated?" I asked. "She told you?" He asked with a look of shock. "Yeah, she told all of us." Mason added. "Um.... his name was Matt. I don't know his last name, but if I did I would track him down and kill him for what he did to her." He said through gritted teeth. "Well, let me know if you ever find out because I would love to lend a hand." I said. After that, we just sat there in silence. Suddenly, Abby started shaking in my arms. "N-no, p-please don't! I-I didn't ch-cheat on y-you. I-I'm s-sorry!" She whimpered. "Abby, Its okay. Its us. Wake up baby." I said. "Come on Abby. Wake up. He can't hurt you anymore. Please wake up." Drew said. She started to shake less and less. A few minutes later, she woke up with tears in her eyes.

She buried her face into my chest as she sobbed. The Mason, Carter, Ryan, Reece, James, Drew, And Dylan surrounded us and began assisting me in calming her down. "Thanks guys." She mumbled. We all nodded our heads and continued sitting therein silence. after a few moments of silence, her doctor walked in. " Hey, I just came in to check in on you and see how you are doing." He said. She nodded her head and shifted off my lap. She winced when she repositioned herself. " How do you feel?" He asked. "I'm o-okay." She mumbled. "Okay, well I'm going to check your ribs once again. The last time I didn't get a very good look. Hopefully the brace as readjusted some of them already, considering the size of the breaks. Are you still okay with these gentlemen being here?" He questioned. She nodded her head and squeezed her eyes shut as he lifted up her shirt.

I held her hand as she whimpered in pain. "Well, I recommend that you take a few days off of school so you don't put to much stress on them." He said. "Get some rest. I will be back in the morning to check on you." He said as he walked out of the door. Well, guess I will be taking the next few days off so I can take care of my angel.
